Socialite Paris Hilton has been warned to expect a hard time when she goes to prison this week.
The warning has come from a former inmate of Los Angeles County jail where she will begin her sentence on Tuesday.
Susannah Johnson, who has just been released, said inmates were already angry with Hilton.
She said they believe officials at the overcrowded prison are making special arrangements for her at their expense.
"The only advice I could give her when she comes is to shut her mouth and do the time," said Johnson.
Hilton, 26, was given a 45-day jail sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
With time off for good behaviour, though, she could be freed after 23 days.
Once she arrives, the Simple Life star will be housed in the county jail's "special needs" unit.
She will take all her meals in her cell but will be allowed out for at least an hour a day to shower, watch TV, or take part in recreational activity.
She will also have to wear an orange jumpsuit.
