HOLLYWOOD starts Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt want their family to include at least 11 children, according to the crusading actress.
"It fluctuates between seven and 13 or 14,'' she told US talk show host Jon Stewart, when asked how many more children the pair wanted to have.
Jolie and Pitt, arguably Hollywood's most glamorous couple, are already raising four children - their daughter Shiloh and three adopted tots: Cambodian son Maddox, five; Vietnamese son Pax Thien, three; and Ethiopian daughter Zahara, two.
"Wow, I'll tell you this: I admire that, because two is kicking my ass,'' said Stewart, to laughs from the audience.
Jolie admitted that her representatives were responsible for recent demands that journalists sign an agreement not to ask her personal questions before interviewing her.
"It was excessive and I wouldn't have put it out there,'' she said.
Meanwhile, Jolie won over Manhattan the night before at the screening of A Mighty Heart, when she wore a vintage 1940s silk velvet wrap dress, procured at a Los Angeles vintage shop for US$26 (A$31).
The money went to her feet - Jolie's Christian Louboutin open-toed, crystal-heel pumps cost about US$800 (A$964).
