Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt plan to retire from Hollywood in a few years!

Angelina Jolie has left her, and beau Brad Pitt’s diehard fans in shock by announcing that the couple are planning on giving up acting a few years down the road.

Angelina Jolie, in the new issue of Parade magazine, reveals that she is considering retiring from films in a few years time, and that partner Brad Pitt might also do the same so that the couple can concentrate on their most precious production – their kids.

The couple’s family has grown by leaps and bounds ever since they started a relationship after Brad’s divorce from ex wife, former Friends star Jennifer Aniston came through in March 2005.
When the couple started working on the 2005 movie Mr and Mrs Smith, Jolie was already mother to Maddox. Soon after they started a relationship, Jolie adopted her oldest daughter Zahara in 2005.

The two kids were later adopted by Pitt, and their surnames changed to Jolie-Pitt.

A year down the line, she gave birth to her and Pitt’s only biological child so far – Shiloh in 2006.
This year in March, the family grew once again when Jolie adopted three-year old Pax Thien from Vietnam. The little boy recently became a full ‘Jolie-Pitt’ after his surname was officially changed from simply ‘Jolie’ to ‘Jolie-Pitt’.

Now, the actress has revealed that she and her beau are thinking about taking some time off at the same time so that they can spend some quality time with their children.

“Brad and I have a lot of kids, and we want to have more kids. And they demand a lot of time. It takes a lot just to get all of them fed and clothed and out the door to different schools on time. It’s fun, and we love it. But you can’t balance everything,” Us Weekly quoted her, as telling Parade.

“I think both of us only plan to work for a few more years. We’ll try to just stop sooner or later, so we can be home and travel, and just live,” she reveals.

For now however, the couple plan to juggle work projects and their kids, with one signing on for a role while the other stays at home.

"Brad and I are very lucky that we’re in a situation where we can choose to take turns, and one of us can be home with the kids, and so we kind of have that plan of who is doing what. So I have been home, and now I am going to go to work for a little bit, then he is going to work, then I am going to work, then basically we’re going to try to take a year off and just be with the kids," she says.

"So certainly, we’re trying to find a few projects that we love or that we think would be good to do for one reason or another. But mainly our focus is, 'OK, let’s look at our schedule, and try to figure out when we’re going to have our family time,'" Jolie adds.

Jolie is currently in Prague working on her new movie Wanted in which she plays an assassin.
