The photos show Minnilo thrusting her lips towards Lindsay with eyes nearly closed as if ready to be kissed. The risqué playacting at a house party in the wee hours of June 16, 2006 is disconcerting given Lindsay's record of substance abuse.
Minnilo, 26, recently quit as host of MTV's "TRL" and New York correspondent for ET when her contract with Viacom, which owns both the shows, expired in April.
Her friends say she chose not to renew her contract. However, "ET" insiders say Minnillo aggravated her bosses at CBS Paramount with her diva demands when she was asked to cover the Grammys in February.
Page Six quotes a source as saying, "She was extremely high maintenance. She insisted they fly her own hair and makeup people and her personal assistant out with her every time she flew to L.A. She only flew first class and stayed at the Four Seasons, and then she didn't want to work.
"Vanessa wants to be a celebrity, not interview them," the source adds. "She wouldn't conduct post-show interviews because she wanted to party. She expected to be paid a full-time salary for a part-time job."
Minnillo is also believed to have Hollywood ambitions. She recently moved in with boyfriend Nick Lachey in Los Angeles in the hope of landing a role in a film.
However, in view of Minnillo's complicity in the Lilo photos she may now be hard pressed to find takers for her talent.
