Matt Damon hated locking lips with Angelina Jolie

While most men would give their lives to lock lips with Angelina Jolie, actor Matt Damon has revealed that he hated it.

The actor has confessed that it was the most difficult task during the making of their new movie The Good Shepherd.
"We're old friends so it was like kissing your sister," he was quoted by the Mirror as saying.
"I'm probably one the few people who hated kissing her," she added.
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie was so overwhelmed by the way people were suffering when she first started meeting refugees as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador that she "constantly" broke down into tears.
The actress, who was in Africa in Feb to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis in the war-torn country of Sudan, admitted that she had found her role tough to deal with at first.
"The first two years I just cried constantly. I couldn't really talk about the situation without being emotional. And I went through a period of just complete lack of hope," Jolie was quoted as saying. Jolie also slammed those who brand her goodwill work as "celebrity tourism".
She insists that those who do so are ignorant of what the role actually entails. "I don't know if anybody saying that has spent the last six years of their life going to over 30 camps and really spending time with these people," she said. She also recently revealed that life as a Goodwill Ambassador was not always easy or safe, especially since she narrowly escaped being kidnapped during one of her visits to an unnamed destination.

Size zero Victoria Beckham bans skinny models from promoting her range

It seems Victoria Beckham is never going to slip into a pair of denims from her own collection, for the waif -like star is showing 'zero' tolerance for ultra-thin models, and has banned them from promoting her fashion label.

Posh - nicknamed Skeletal Spice for her twiggy frame - does not want women like her to model her new denim range, and instead has hired curvy girls such as Daniella Sarahyba for the job.
Sarahyba - the former pin up for Sports Illustrated magazine - is well known in the industry for being slightly bigger than the usual catwalk beauties. The 35-26-36 Brazilian's own website describes her as a “voluptuous goddess” who has “a perfectly sculpted body with the curves and meat in all the right places”.
Some cynics say Victoria has picked curvy women so she will look better standing next to them when she launches the brand in LA, but friends say she only wants to hire girls who have more curves than she does because they look more “natural”.
A source told The Sun: “Victoria wants to give out a positive image that you don’t have to be ultra skinny to look good. Many of the models on the catwalk make young girls feel insecure about their own bodies.
“Victoria doesn’t want to be accused of giving young girls a complex about their image and putting pressure on them to be as skinny as her,” the source added.
Meanwhile, talking about her new range fashionista Victoria said: “I am completely obsessed about jeans. I have started wearing high-waist jeans but they do really squeeze you in round the waist and by the end of the day I was beginning to have mental images of my epitaph, ‘Victoria Beckham, done in by denim.’”
Victoria allegedly fits perfectly into a pair of 23-inch David Bitton jeans - which is the same size Gap use for a seven-year-old.

This is how self-promoting Anand Jon lured young girls into sex

Indian born designer Anand Jon, who is currently behind bars on multiple charges of sexual assault, cultivated his celeb image by making sure that an entourage followed him wherever he went.

A source close to the designer said that Jon led a his ‘life like a cult’, with his associates clinging on to him, and that he was always accompanied by a photographer, his sister, who assisted him, and his publicist.
“He runs his life like a cult. He has four people following him around at all times, including a publicist, a photographer, and his assistant, who is his sister,” The New York Post quoted the source, as saying.
The source added that the 33-year-old, who was arrested on March 13, was often seen with girls seemingly 18 years of age.
"He always had young girls around. They may have been over 18, but they didn't look it,” the source added.
Chris Hulbert, one of Jon’s former publicists revealed that his former client had made advances to his 19-year-old date asking her to have sex with him.
"He put his hand around her neck and said 'You have a very comfortable neck, would you like to have sex with me?' She was really creeped out,” he said.
A source said that the designer, who dressed up celebs like Paula Abdul and Paris Hilton, used to lure girls by telling them he will make them famous, but never fulfilled his claims.
“He will tell girls, 'I can take you places,' and the girls see the photographers following him around, and they would believe him because he was friends with Paris. But they were totally duped,” a source said.
A former friend said that New York based Jon loved to flaunt his press clippings to people in parties that he attended.
"He would carry around a press book with all his clippings and show it to people at parties,” the friend said.
However, Ronald Richards, Jon’s lawyer said that it is not unusual for a celebrity to self promote.
"All up-and-coming celebrities try to promote themselves. It's not inconsistent with other young up-and-coming celebs to self-promote,” Richards said.

As for Paris, well she also insists that "she's only met [Cee-Lo] once, backstage at a concert."

Angelina Jolie to earn $2 million for newly adopted son photos

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will reportedly earn almost $2 million for photographs of their newly adopted son.

According to Radar magazine, Angelina - who adopted three-year-old Vietnamese orphan Pax Thien Jolie last week - is said to have agreed to sell pictures of her new son to People magazine for between $1.75 million and $2 million.
However, a People spokesperson has described that figure as "absurd".
The spokesperson added: "We don't comment on the specifics on any negotiations."
Intimate pictures of mother and child are now appearing on the front cover of Hello magazine after they were given exclusive access to Angelina's family album.
The magazine features a series of pictures of Pax getting to know sister Zahara and falling asleep next to new brother Maddox.
Brad and Angelina commanded a staggering $4.1 million - which they donated to an undisclosed charity - for photographs of them with their biological daughter Shiloh just after she was born.
As well as Pax, Brad and Angelina have two adopted children, Cambodian son Maddox, five, and two-year-old Ethiopian daughter Zahara. Their daughter together Shiloh is now 10 months old.

Dr. Dre launched Eminem's career based on his gut feel

Irrespective of his counselor’s advice, Dr. Dre listened to his gut feeling that Eminem would turn out to be a big star when he signed the singer for his first album, claims the former’s biography.

Penned by Ronin Ro, ‘Dr. Dre: The Biography’ reveals that the rap producer reckoned the singer to be a black man when he first heard ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ and ‘Murder Murder’ on a demo tape, and arranged a meeting with Eminem in his home studio the very next day.
It also reveals that Eminem was criticized for his blond looks when he appeared for an audition in Dre’s office.
"Dre auditioned the songs for black employees. Some said, 'Yo, that s- is dope...' but most asked, 'What are you doing?' and one said, 'Dre is buggin' out.' Even the general manager questioned his judgement, saying: 'Look, this guy is blond with blue eyes. What are you doing?' " the New York Daily News quoted ," Ro as writing.
Dre, however, signed the ‘Detroit’ rapper because he "he felt Eminem had talent".
He is well known for launching the careers of 50 Cent, The Game and Eve.

“We had fun together, but it's not like the first time I've ever hung out with him,” she told the magazine.

Nicole Richie Collapses On Set (Again)

Fears over the health of Nicole Richie have resurfaced, after the Simple Life star collapsed yesterday while filming a new episode of the series.
Her role at the time was as a fat counsellor at a Malibu camp for obese children; ironic considering that two weeks ago Nicole admitted that she is addicted to appetite-suppressing pills.
"She was taken to her trailer immediately. But she came around, so the crew didn't call an ambulance" a witness told the New York Daily News, adding: "She spent the rest of the day in her trailer and left Paris (Hilton) to complete the day's filming"
Dehydration was cited as the cause of Nicole's collapse last month, as other sources questioned the star's strange behaviour during filming. This included speech problems, and being unable to walk.
Has anyone suggested rehab (again)?

Cruise enlists for Hitler thriller

By Borys Kit

Tom Cruise is set to star in an untitled thriller based on an attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler at the height of World War II.

Cruise had not intended to star in the project, which was acquired last week by his United Artists banner. However, during subsequent meetings, the project's director, Bryan Singer, became intrigued by the notion of Cruise as a central figure in the story and offered him the role. Cruise signed on Tuesday.
Production is scheduled to begin early this summer. MGM will distribute. Christopher McQuarrie and Nathan Alexander wrote the script. Singer and McQuarrie previously teamed on the Oscar-winning thriller "The Usual Suspects."
The filmmakers are saying the untitled project should not interfere with Singer's mounting of a sequel to "Superman Returns" for Warner Bros. Pictures early next year.
The project marks the second production to be greenlighted since Cruise and production partner Paula Wagner took control of United Artists last year. Production is under way on its inaugural film, "Lions for Lambs," directed by Robert Redford and starring Redford, Meryl Streep and Cruise. "Lambs" is scheduled for release November 9.

Britney Spears is financially solid

Despite her reckless lifestyle and the seven figure payout that she has reportedly agreed to as part of her divorce settlement with estranged husband Kevin Federline, Britney's financial health, at least, remains good.

Her current net worth is $100 million and, thanks to sound investments, growing by the second.
Her assets are managed by professionals and spread over separate companies such as Britney Touring, One More Time Music, Fairy Zone Productions and Britney Online.
Forbes magazine recently ranked Britney as the 12th-richest woman in entertainment.
Using Forbes research and documents drawn up by the legal team that prepared Britney's premarital agreement, NY Daily News estimates Britney's assets to include - $26.5 million in Music, $22.6 million worth of property and valuable, $21.6 million in endorsements, $16.7 million royalties on her perfume, skin-care goods and cosmetics, $6.5 million in TV, Movies and Magazines and $33.25 million cash in bank.
"She's a very wealthy woman and protected by an ironclad prenuptial agreement," says financial expert Lea Goldman, associate editor of Forbes magazine.
While there is little or no danger of a Britney bankruptcy, the chances that she will add to her huge wealth are real. A single new hit could rake in millions, converting the negative publicity as just publicity.

Lindsay Lohan's mother fears for her daughter's life

Lindsay Lohan's mother fears her daughter's life could end in tragedy like the late Princess Diana's.

Dina is worried the young actress - who is one of the most photographed women in the world - could be killed being pursued by the paparazzi, just like Diana in 1997.
Dina told America's Harper's Bazaar magazine: "She's in such a whirlwind, she's in a tornado. I mean, we're talking serious earthquake, you know? Look at me. Princess Diana will happen again."
Dina also revealed she hadn't pushed Lindsay into her recent rehab stay because she wanted her 20-year-old daughter to make the decision on her own.
She added: "Lindsay had to fall and get up. I knew it was coming. I told her, but finally she was like, 'Mommy, I had to do it myself.'"
Lindsay recently bought two pet dogs to help her curb her partying.
The 'Bobby' actress - famed for her wild nights out - purchased the two puppies in the hope they will make her stay at home.
She said: "I bought two puppies. Sober impulse buying of companions who will help me stay home."

Another Idol Shocker: So Long, Stephanie

by Natalie Finn

Sometimes, being bad can be a good thing.
Thirty million possibly tone-deaf American Idol voters threw the music industry another curveball Wednesday night, booting early favorite Stephanie Edwards from the competition and narrowing the already narrow field down to 10.
Of course, it's not as if Edwards, 19, was season six's top contender—on Tuesday,
Simon Cowell said that her take on Dusty Springfield's "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" was lacking the edginess and youthful energy of her previous performances.
Even
Paula Abdul told Edwards she should try to have more fun onstage. Or, in Randy Jackson speak, "That wasn't my favorite performance of yours…"
But there were just so many other contestants to choose from.
For instance, fans have done way too much to appease votefortheworst.com, keeping novelty act Sanjaya Malakar out of the bottom two completely, even after his screaming/growling rendition of the Kinks' "You Really Got Me" really got us taking a bathroom break.
Others who seemed way more on the verge of an Idol breakdown than Edwards included Gina Glocksen, who seemingly painted herself into the bottom two with the Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black," and Phil Stacey, who left the judges cold with his version of "Tobacco Road," rerecorded by the Brit-pop band the Nashville Teens in 1964.
Instead, Chris Richardson, who did a nice job on Gerry & the Pacemakers' "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying" and earned "best performance so far" honors from Cowell, joined Edwards in the hot seat.
Meanwhile, Melinda Doolittle, LaKisha Jones, Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks sailed through, and Haley Scarnato appears to have redeemed herself for the time being, turning in a "best to date" performance of "Tell Him," done Billie Davis-style, and avoiding the firing squad.
Wednesday's elimination show also featured performances from former Herman's Hermits frontman Peter Noone and "To Sir with Love" singer Lulu, both of whom also helped prep the contestants for Tuesday's British Pop Invasion night.
The top 10 finalists—Doolittle, Jones, Lewis, Sparks, Malakar, Glocksen, Scarnato, Richardson, Stacey and Chris Sligh—go through this all over again next week.

Final Harry Potter novel goes green

The hero of the Harry Potter franchise may be doomed in the seventh and final novel in the series authored by J.K. Rowling, but that doesn't mean that the world's forests are. U.S. publisher Scholastic Inc. has announced that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which is already receiving a record printing, will be sparing the environment as it brings to an end one of the most popular book franchises in history.

With 12 million copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows being ordered for the first U.S. printing, a record-breaking number, Scholastic has announced that the paper used in the printing will come from well managed forests, according to Reuters. While the publication of the 784-page Harry Potter finale will require nearly 22 million pounds of paper, Scholastic has collaborated with the Rainforest Alliance to ensure that 65 percent of the paper used will be Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper. That means that 10,855 tons of the total 16,700 tons of paper used will come from forests that are socially and environmentally managed.
While the 12 million copies coming in the first printing is a notable record, the massive purchase of FSC-certified paper is the largest ever used in a single printing. As Kyle Good, Vice President of corporate communications for Scholastic said, "It's a really big step for the publishing industry to have a book this size and this number, this sheer volume of pages and print to be able to be on FSC-certified paper."
Along with the use of FSC-certified paper, the agreement between Scholastic and the Rainforest Alliance ensured that a minimum of 30% post-consumer waste fiber would be used in the printing, and that the "deluxe" edition of the new book, which will see a first printing of 100,000 copies, will be printed on paper that is 100% post-consumer waste fiber. The announcement comes after the criticism Scholastic faced from Greenpeace over the printing of the last Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Greenpeace claimed the initial 10.8 million copy first printing of Half-Blood Prince used nearly 220,000 mature trees, and that prompted boycott calls from the environmental organization. Greenpeace had urged fans to buy the novel from the Canadian publisher, Raincoast Books, which used 100% recycled paper.
The Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final adventure of Harry Potter is set to be released on July 21 with different cover illustrations for adults and child, according to The Guardian. Publishers hope that The Deathly Hallows will break the record set by Half Blood Prince, which say close to seven million copies sold in the United States in the first 24 hours, making it the fastest-selling book in history. That record seems to be in jeopardy from The Deathly Hallows, as the children's edition is already ranked second in preorders on Amazon.co.uk, behind the adult version of the novel.
The July 21 release date for the seventh and final book is just eight days after the July 13 release date set for the fifth Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The films, starring
Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter and Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, are still trying to secure Emma Watson in the role of Hermione Granger for the sixth and seventh movies.

Simon and Ryan's American Idol spat is scripted

There has been some obvious suspicion that it is so, but now a source within American Idol confirms the sometimes nasty sparring between Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest on the show is scripted for the ratings.

When Melinda Doolittle complained that her high heels tortured her more than the typical stage fright, Seacrest took the first jab at Simon, asking, "Any advice on the high heels?"
Ever so delightful Simon shot back, "you should know, Ryan."
For some odd reason Seacrest looked surprised and told Simon to "Stay out of my closet."
"Come out," said Simon.
The orchestration is perfect, almost too good to be true. The way the camera lingers on Simon before Ryan baits him has been suggestive. However, the Simon wink on Tuesday (20 Mar 2007) night's episode was the clincher. That had to be orchestrated.
"Most of these rifts have been outlined," an insider tells Star. "Simon and Ryan are real good friends off-camera. . . . When the show is on the road for auditions, the two go for drinks and dinner."
"The executive producer of the show, Nigel Lythgoe, watches the rehearsals and writes notes on who Simon should make snarky comments about," the source tells Star. "That's what's on the sheets of paper on the judging desk. Simon is not the evil guy you think he is. . . . The truth is Ryan is just as focused on the show's popularity as Simon. There's no real drama. It's all for the cameras!"

Tom Cruise Wants To Thrill Us

The Hollywood superstar is set to star in an untitled WWII thriller based on actual events. It seems Cruise didn’t initially plan to star in the film but only produce it, as it was acquired by United Artists. Bryan Singer is directing, while Christopher McQuarrie and Nathan Alexander have written the script. Singer and McQuarrie, who most recently teamed to make the award-winning thriller “The Usual Suspects,” are producing. The thriller, yet to receive a title, is based on known facts and depicts an attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler at the height of World War II. Cruise reportedly accepted the role after being seduced by the script. He signed on Tuesday. “After reading the script, Tom and I knew immediately that this was a film that we had to make,” UA CEO Paula Wagner said. “As an added bonus, because of Bryan Singer's involvement and Tom's admiration for him as a filmmaker, as well as the excellence of the script, the project attracted Tom as an actor. I cannot think of a more perfect combination of creative elements for our second production.” Production is scheduled to begin early this summer. MGM will distribute. The filmmakers are saying the untitled project should not interfere with Singer's mounting of a sequel to “Superman Returns” for Warner Bros. Pictures early next year. The movie will be the second Cruise and Wagner have committed to making with United Artists since the duo agreed to help revive it for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Inc. late last year. The first is “Lions For Lambs” starring Cruise, Robert Redford and Meryl Streep that will be out Nov. 9. There have also been rumors that Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise have been tapped by Twentieth Century Fox to play the leads in “The Hardy Men,” a film based on the series “The Hardy Boys.” Fox said it hopes to put it into production by 2008. According to Variety, “The Hardy Men” will feature the adult siblings, once inseparable but now estranged, reuniting to solve one last case. The movie will be a reworking of the classic detective series “The Hardy Boys,” which kicked off in 1927 with “The Tower Treasure.”

Michael Jackson wants Victoria and David Beckham to buy Neverland ranch

The singer, who left the property 18 months ago after being cleared of child abuse charges, wants the Beckhams to buy the 2,800-acre property for £10 million.

Michael has asked estate agents to show the property details to Victoria, who has been house hunting ahead of David's summer move to the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team.
However, Victoria is said to have no interest in Neverland, because it is in Los Olivos, California, 150 miles away from David's new training ground.
Victoria, 32, is expected to look at around 35 properties in total, all valued between £5 million and £10 million. She reportedly has her eye on a £7.5 million mansion previously owned by Lionel Richie and is determined to find the perfect home for her family.
Victoria said: "I want to make sure I pick the right one for David and the kids. I've seen some beautiful places, but we want somewhere that looks like a nice home."
The former Spice Girl is planning to spend £50,000 on themed bedrooms for the couple's three sons Brooklyn, seven, Romeo, four, and 23-month-old Cruz.
Victoria has asked children's boutique Petit Tresor to design murals, beds and furniture with a soccer theme.
Petit Tresor's co-owner, Samantha Winch, said: "The idea is to make you feel like you're in a soccer stadium like Dad. Endorsement deals and screaming fans are sold separately!"

Cameron Diaz, Lindsay Lohan, Christina Aguilera and Carmen Electra's lesbian leaning revealed

Some of the hottest women in Hollywood like Victoria Silvstedt, Cameron Diaz, Lindsay Lohan, Christina Aguilera and Carmen Electra, who have dated equally good looking men, also have another thing in common – they’ve all fantasized about getting hot and heavy with women.

They are some of the hottest women in Hollywood who have dated equally good looking men, but besides that Victoria Silvstedt, Cameron Diaz, Lindsay Lohan, Christina Aguilera, Geri Halliwell, Alicia Silverstone and Carmen Electra also have another thing in common – they’ve all fantasized about getting hot and heavy with women.
While former Playboy Playmate Victoria Silvstedt revealed that the woman she would love to “snog” happens to be none other that British beauty Kelly Brooke, whose naturally curvy and light skin makes her extremely attractive to Silvstedt, Cameron Diaz has confessed to having a major-crush on another Playboy regular – Pamela Anderson.
"I'd love to snog Kelly Brook - she's beautiful. She's very naturally curvy and I like her light skin. Kelly's kind of the opposite of what I am and I find that very attractive. If a girl's very attractive, why not snog her! There are so many gorgeous women in the world!" The Sun quoted Silvstedt, as saying.
“I had a major girl-crush on Pamela Anderson. Still do – she’s hot as ever - but she was my first. When I first discovered her I was like, ‘Wow, she's so beautiful!’” said Diaz.

Singer Christina Aguilera is also one who finds the female form "really beautiful", especially that of Halle Berry.
"I think the female body is really beautiful and sometimes I think the sight of a female nude body can be more attractive than a male's - but that's just me. Halle Berry is a very beautiful woman," she said, Lindsay Lohan, on the other hand, prefers Angelina Jolie.
"Someone said to me recently, 'I heard you have a crush on Angelina,' and I was like, 'Uh, everyone does. She's Angelina'" Lohan said.
Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, in the mean time, admitted that if she was a man, it would be singer Britney Spears who would find herself the object of Ginger Spice’s affections.
"If I was a man I’d want to do Britney,” Halliwell revealed.

The woman that Alicia Silverstone revealed she "daydreams" just looking at, happens to be the actress’ ‘Beauty Shop’ co-star Queen Latifah.
"I can daydream looking at her I think she's so beautiful. I want to cuddle her," said Silverstone.
Carmen Electra on the other hand, reveals that she’s had a crush on Rock n Roll singer Joan Jett ever since she was eight.
"I've had a little girl crush on Joan Jett since I was eight. Remember that video where she comes out with a trench coat on and she opens up the trench coat and she's wearing a bikini and then she's rocking out with a guitar? She's hot," she said.

Britney Spears leaves rehab

The pop star checked out of Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility "after successfully completing their program," the pop star's manager, Larry Rudolph, said in a statement released by Jive Records late Tuesday. "We ask that the media respects her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."
Spears, 25, entered the facility Feb. 22, after a bout of bizarre behavior that included shaving her head, getting tiny lips tattooed on her wrist and beating a car with an umbrella, with photos of the incidents instantly beamed worldwide.
Spears' activities have been weekly magazine fodder since she filed for divorce from aspiring rapper Kevin Federline in November. The two have joint custody of their sons, Jayden James, 6 months, and Sean Preston, 18 months. Federline and the children reportedly visited Spears during her treatment.
Federline, an aspiring rapper who released his debut album in November, will celebrate his 29th birthday Wednesday with a party at West Hollywood nightclub Eleven. A second bash will be held at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday, said Federline's publicist, Marilyn Lopez.
Spears has not disclosed why she sought treatment at Promises, which offers detox, counseling and 12-step programs. A 30-day stay at the plush, oceanfront facility costs $48,000.

Here's why Scorsese edited 'The Departed' kinky sex scene

The kinky sex scene former Miss World USA Sallie Toussaint had done for ‘The Departed’ was chopped at the last minute, after her agent refused to cancel an interview the actress gave to a magazine without taking director Martin Scorsese’s permission, first.

Victoria Talbot of Hype Inc., the actress’ publicist, says that producer Graham King told her that unless the spread was canceled, Scorsese would edit the actress’ love scene in the action flick.
"Who the hell did I think I was booking the Steppin' Out spread without approval . . . He said Scorsese was really mad and that he would edit Sallie out if I did not cancel the spread," the New York Post quoted Victoria, as telling Steppin' Out's Chaunce Hayden.
However, the interview took place, and the producers took a decision to chop Toussaint's big sex scene with Jack Nicholson and another woman to just a few seconds in the Oscar winning film.
Scorsese's representatives were unavailable for comment.

The 24- year old actress is currently dating Razorlight frontman Johnny Borell, whom she met at a Razorlight show three weeks ago.
The couple were spotted at Blender House at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin this weekend.
"(They were) kissing and cuddling on the dance floor and drinking Absolut cocktails," the New York Post quoted a source, as saying.
Meanwhile Moretti's ex, Drew Barrymore has people wondering whether a reconciliation is on the cards between her and the 26 year old rocker.
The Charlie's Angels star, who broke up with Moretti in Jan this year after a four-and-a-half year relationship, hasn't ruled out getting back together with her rocker beau.
However, she insists that the first thing that they will have to do, if the couple do reconcile, is get rid of all the things that made their relationship crumble in the first place. (ANI)

Britney Spears’ financial woes could draw her back to Justin Timberlake

Singer Britney Spears is reportedly facing the terrifying prospect of going bankrupt after coughing up a whopping 21 million dollars in the past two years.

Singer Britney Spears is reportedly facing the terrifying prospect of going bankrupt after coughing up a whopping 21 million dollars in the past two years.
The 25-year-old pop singer’s friends said that Spears is in a sort of jeopardy after she leaves rehab, for she has to stay sober, and that will not be possible because there is the trouble of the Toxic singer going broke.
The friend added that the pop singer dreads the financial trouble that she is going to face.
"She has to concentrate on staying sober, but she can't do that if she has to worry about going broke - which is exactly what she thinks will happen,” the friend told Daily Star.
Britney’s financial woes may be behind her desperate attempts to contact her ex - Justin Timberlake.
It has been reported that Britney has been begging Justin Timberlake to visit her in rehab. A source told America's Star magazine: "She was hiding in a closet and talking to a guy named Justin, probably Justin Timberlake. She was talking to him about coming to support her at a group Alcoholics Anonymous meeting on Wednesday March 7 in Santa Monica.
"She kept saying 'Come on Justin, please, please, please come!' She was begging him!"
One hope for Britney is musical composer, R&B record producer and rapper Timbaland (Timothy Z. Mosley) who helped to create some of the most successful songs in modern pop music. He has his mind set on helping Britney Spears recover from her tail spin and soar back up to glorious heights.
However, pivotal to Timbaland’s proposed plans to re-launch Britney is Justin Timberlake.
"I asked Justin, `How would you feel about me working with Britney?' I had to ask him that," Timbaland was recently quoted as saying. "I said, `Would you do it with me?"'
The 26-year-old "SexyBack" singer agreed with one rider on Britney: "She's just gotta be serious."
If Britney is not able to re-launch her career quickly, her divorce settlement with Kevin Federline could strain her finances to a breaking point. Her pre-nuptial agreement gives her some protection but still commits half the cash from the sale of their house. The legal fees are going to be enormous and Federline is likely to demand his pound of flesh for not wresting sole custody of their two children as he can well do considering the mess Britney is currently in.

Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Celebrity Rehabilitation and Employer Based EAP

Non-celebrities can utilize their employer's employee assistance program (EAP), provided by companies like MINES and Associates, to find assistance in dealing with mental health issues and drug / alcohol addiction problems.
Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 18, 2007 -- Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan and other high profile celebrities have brought to the forefront the growing need for better drug/alcohol treatment and mental health treatment. The positive side of celebrities going public about their rehabilitation is that it helps to destigmatize and make more acceptable the use of this type of treatment by the general public. Even though the recent troubles of Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan have become ongoing comedic fodder for the late night talk shows like Jay Leno, their problems do highlight the serious need for better mental health care and drug addiction treatments in this country.
Although celebrities receive intense media attention for going in and out of rehabilitation, this is not uncommon for drug and alcohol treatment. In-house data by MINES and Associates, a national employee assistance provider (EAP) and business psychology firm, indicates that about 70% of individuals suffering from drug and alcohol problems will benefit from treatment. However, it may take 2 or more treatment episodes before they are able to maintain their sobriety. It is also important for the people who struggle with drug or alcohol problems to know that the rehabilitation center that they will be checking into may not have the amenities that the "celebrity treatment centers" have. The media has created this common misconception and has done a huge disservice to the many non-celebrities seeking treatment at what they expect to be rehabilitation centers that double as luxury day spas. After checking into a rehabilitation facility for the third time, Britney Spears has shown that she may be more decisive about her treatment this time. It is important for the patient and family members to understand that there is a phase patients go through that is a "predecision phase" characterized by ambivalence about treatment and recovery. It has also been reported that Britney is attending Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings and is trying to adhere to the rules of the facility. According to Dr. Robert A. Mines, CEO of MINES and Associates, a national employee assistance provider (EAP) and licensed psychologist, "AA and related groups provide important social support for people in recovery as many of the previous 'drinking and drugging friends' will no longer be there once the person is sober."
There are many resources available throughout the country for people seeking help. Many employers have employee assistance programs for employees and their families, much like the one MINES and Associates provides. Companies like MINES and Associates also offer managed mental health care solutions to the employees of participating companies. In addition, United Way agencies in many cities have low cost options for people seeking help. Finally, local AA meetings are always free.
Most employer's EAPs provide free counseling sessions that can be used at anytime to help you deal with these types of problems if they occur and to help assess whether checking into a treatment center might be the right option for you. Your human resources department at work will be able to provide you with the contact information for your EAP. The first step to recovery is accepting that one has a problem. The second step is making a personal commitment to get better. Checking into a rehabilitation center is another big step on the road to recovery. Having access to these options through your employers EAP can be a tremendous help to successfully breaking the destructive cycle of drug and alcohol addiction.

According to the report, Vietnamese Pax and Cambodian-born Maddox will be page boys at the ceremony. Zahara, from Ethiopia, and Shiloh, born to the couple, would also be present.

She then sent her cousin Ali and a personal assistant to collect her items from the store.

Jill Paget, who works at Intuition, said: “Britney went online several times in the past few days and bought £1500 worth of stuff. She ordered them from inside rehab and then her assistant came to pick them up.”

Wheels Up for Angelina, Pax

by Gina Serpe
Pax Thien Jolie just got one step closer to a reunion with papa Brad Pitt.
The three-year-old Vietnamese boy, along with new mama
Angelina Jolie and new brother Maddox, touched down in Hanoi Monday in anticipation of leaving for the States later this week.
Three-sixths of the ever-expanding Jolie-Pitt brood arrived in the city to secure a visa for Pax, which will allow him to depart his native country for the U.S., where he will join up with the other three members of his adoptive family and have his first meet and greet with sisters Zahara, two, and Shiloh, 10 months.
According to the Associated Press, Jolie will meet with officials at the U.S. Embassy on Tuesday, when Pax's visa application is expected to be processed.
The 31-year-old Oscar winner is unable to take Pax out of the country until the application is approved. Last week, it was estimated that the adoption, which formally took place on Thursday, and its corresponding paperwork, including Pax's visa and passport applications, would take about a week to complete.
Turns out it was a pretty accurate estimate: per the AP, Jolie & Co. are expected to depart Vietnam on Wednesday.
While Jolie's adoption of Pax last week caused, as expected, a worldwide media sensation, the actress did her best to quell the interest in her new brood over the weekend, keeping as low a profile as she could with Pax and five-year-old Maddox in Ho Chi Minh City.
The trio reportedly spent the weekend holed up in their hotel room in the city center, no doubt forging some familial bonds away from prying media eyes.
On Friday, Jolie told the Ho Chi Minh City Law newspaper that she was sorry for exposing to Pax to such a frenzy so early on, saying the hype "will make him upset. I'm very worried about that. I would like to say I'm sorry for bringing this into Pax's life."
Jolie and Maddox touched down in Ho Chi Minh City last Wednesday. By Thursday morning, she had picked up her new son, whose pre-adoption name was Pham Quang, at the Tam Binh orphanage, where he was taken shortly after his birth in November 2003 after being found abandoned at a local hospital.
The united family then headed to the Ministry of Justice for a formal adoption ceremony in which custody of Pax was officially handed over to Jolie.
The actress filed for adoption of Pax as a single mother, in accordance with Vietnam's stance prohibiting unmarried couples from jointly filing, through the U.S.-based Adoptions From the Heart agency last summer. Over Thanksgiving, she and Pitt visited the Tam Binh orphanage and selected Pax as the newest addition to their multicultural brood.

Potter star refuses to sign up for final films

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has reportedly refused to sign up for the last two instalments in the series, despite being offered £2m per film to reprise her role as Hermione Granger.

The 16-year-old is said to be tired of her playing Harry Potter's know-it-all pal and wants to try new projects. Matters were not helped last week when a stalker followed her into school and managed to talk to her before being warned off campus. Watson has since been assigned a private bodyguard.

Daniel Radcliffe, currently drawing rave reviews in the West End revival of Equus, confirmed earlier this month that he had signed on the dotted line to play the boy wizard for the final two movies. It is thought that Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, has also agreed to see out the series.

It seems to have been Grint himself who sparked off the speculation about Watson's future. The News of the World yesterday quoted him as saying that Watson had drifted apart from him and Radcliffe in recent months, despite the trio having made five films together.

"Daniel and I are distant from her now," he was quoted as saying. "We don't text or talk to her when we are not filming.
"Emma doesn't want to do it any more. She's tired of being known as, 'that girl from Harry Potter.'"
However, Warner Bros said this morning: "We're extremely confident that Emma will be back for films six and seven."

The fifth instalment in the saga based on JK Rowling's books, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, is due in UK cinemas in July. The sixth, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, should arrive the following year. No date has been set for the release of the final film, with Rowling's novel only due to hit booksellers on July 21.Daniel Radcliffe, currently drawing rave reviews in the West End revival of Equus, confirmed earlier this month that he had signed on the dotted line to play the boy wizard for the final two movies. Two made-in-Canada films in top five

David Germain, Associated Press

The battle epic 300 took the No. 1 box-office spot for the second straight weekend with $31.2 million (all figures U.S.), according to studio estimates Sunday.
The made-in-Montreal movie, the story of vastly outnumbered Spartans defending against Persian invaders, shot past the $100-million mark after just a week in theatres, bringing its total to $127.5 million at theatres in the United States and Canada.
Disney's road comedy Wild Hogs also crossed the $100-million mark, remaining the No. 2 movie with $18.8 million to lift its total to $104 million.
The paranormal thriller Premonition, starring Sandra Bullock as a woman whose husband is killed one day but turns up alive and well the next, debuted in third place with $18 million.
The weekend's two other new wide releases had modest openings. The made-in-Toronto fright flick Dead Silence - the tale of a maniacal ventriloquist dummy, from director James Wan and screenwriter Leigh Whannell, the team behind the original Saw horror hit - debuted at No. 4 with $7.8 million.
Fox Searchlight's I Think I Love My Wife, a romance starring Chris Rock as a bored hubby drawn to a temptress (Kerry Washington), premiered in fifth place with $5.7 million. Rock also co-wrote and directed the movie.
In limited release, the Irish historical drama The Wind That Shakes the Barley opened solidly over St. Patrick's Day weekend with $75,311 in nine theatres. The top prize winner at last spring's Cannes Film Festival, the movie is directed by Ken Loach and stars Cillian Murphy in the story of two brothers on opposite sides of Ireland's battle for independence from Britain.
Bad weather on the East Coast and the NCAA basketball tournament, combined with traditional partying on St. Patrick's Day, put a bit of a damper on the box office, particularly among young males who are the main audience for 300.
In Boston, with its heavy Irish-American population, crowds for 300 were down 70 per cent on St. Patrick's Day compared to the previous Saturday, while the drop in the rest of the country was just 49 per cent, said Dan Fellman, head of distribution for Warner Bros.
Even so, the overall box office rose, with the top 12 movies taking in $102.4 million, up 10.5 per cent from the same weekend last year.
Movie attendance this year is up 3.5 per cent compared with 2006 admissions, with hits such as 300 and Wild Hogs giving Hollywood an early start on what is expected to be a huge summer season. Among summer's blockbuster sequels are Shrek the Third, Spider-Man 3, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
"300 and the other late-spring hits have put us in a fantastic position heading into the home stretch leading up to summer," said Paul Dergarabedian, president of box-office tracker Media By Numbers.

Timbaland ready to polish Britney's star

Rapper-producer Timbaland, whose real name is Tim Mosley, says he's standing by to remake Britney Spears.

cbc.ca

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the producer who crafted Sexyback for Justin Timberlake and Promiscuous for Canada's Nelly Furtado, says he's ready to help Spears be a star again.

"I feel her pain. It really bothers me," he said. "I'm the type of person who tries to save the world. I just want to take her away, go overseas, and work [it] out."

Spears's image has been hurt by the scandals of her private life, including shaving her head in public, going into rehab and fighting her ex-husband over custody of their two children.
When she does get back to performing, it's going to be difficult to re-establish pop stardom amid the controversy over her personal life.

Timbaland says he consulted with Timberlake, his friend and Spears's ex-boyfriend, over the pop princess.

Bush's daughter bags book deal

By Michelle Pauli

Jenna Bush, the daughter of US president George Bush, is to write a young adult, non-fiction book based on her experiences as an unpaid intern working with Unicef in central America.
The book, called Ana's Story: A Journey of Hope, will focus on a 17-year-old orphaned single mother with HIV. It has been bought by HarperCollins for an undisclosed sum - believed to be above $300,000 (£155,500) - is due to be published this autumn. A "portion" of author and publisher proceeds will go to the US fund for Unicef, which supports child survival, protection and development worldwide through education, advocacy and fundraising.

While working as an intern in Latin America and the Caribbean, Jenna Bush compiled photo diaries of the life stories of some of the children and adolescents she met. Ana's Story, which HarperCollins has said will be illustrated with colour photographs by Mia Baxter, a college friend who accompanied Ms Bush, is believed to be along the same lines.
"I have been inspired by my work with adolescents in Central and South America," said Ms Bush. "These young people have faced extreme hardships and exclusion but are strong in spirit and have an incredible will to succeed. Through their stories, it is my hope to motivate young Americans to increase their awareness of other young people around the world: to learn about the challenges they face, how they triumph over adversity, and to become involved in helping them."
"We were very moved by Jenna's passion for this project," said Susan Katz, president and publisher of HarperCollins children's books. "Her message in this book is about hope, involvement and inclusion, told through one teenager's story of survival and strength."
Ms Bush graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 with a degree in English and worked as an elementary school teacher in Washington, DC for 18 months before embarking on an internship with Unicef in Panama.
By winning a publishing deal while her father is still in office Jenna Bush follows in the footsteps of Ronald Reagan's daughter, Patti Davis, whose novel Home Front was published in 1986 during her father's second term. On this side of the Atlantic, Celia Ahern, the daughter of Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, wrote a chick lit novel, PS I Love You, which topped the bestseller charts in her native Ireland and was sold in the States for a $1m advance.
Susan Ford, the daughter of former US president Gerald Ford wrote two suspense novels set in the White House, Double Exposure and Short Fuse. However, the books, written "with Laura Hayden" were published in 2002 and 2005, well after her father's period in office.

Pierce Brosnan Joins Mamma Mia! Film Alongside Meryl Streep

Variety reports this morning that Pierce Brosnan will star in the feature film adaption of Mamma Mia! opposite Meryl Streep. Brosnan will star as Sam in the film, one of Mammia Mia's "potential fathers.

" Variety also notes that Brosnan isn't a total stranger to the world of singing, having sung on screen in the indie film Evelyn along with some on stage appearances earlier in his career. Brosnan tells Variety that "I said yes right away because it meant working with Meryl Streep...Secondly, I saw the show with my family in London, and found it just so wonderfully happy and joyful..."The film begins shooting on June 25, 2007 in London and Greece will be directed by Phyllida Lloyd who directed the stage show in New York and London with a screenplay by the stage show's book-writer Catherine Johnson.

The film will be produced by Judy Craymer of Littlestar films, with Gart Goetzman, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus executive producing. It's set to start filming this summer.

Pierce Brosnan is recognized internationally as one of the most dashing and skilled dramatic actors in Hollywood today. In 2005, Brosnan received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor for his role as Julian Noble in the critically acclaimed film “The Matador.”

Brosnan recently completed filming "Marriage," written and directed by Ira Sacks. Co-Starring Chris Cooper, Patricia Clarkson and Rachel McAdams, “Marriage” is a 1940s-set drama about a married man who cheats; to spare his wife the shame of a divorce, he plots to kill her.In addition to his work in front of the camera, Brosnan has always had an interest in the art of filmmaking. Having achieved international stardom as an actor, Brosnan expanded the range of his film work by launching his own production company, Irish DreamTime in 1996, along with producing partner Beau St. Clair.

Apart from “The Matador,” Irish DreamTime has produced four films to date: "The Nephew” (1998), “The Thomas Crown Affair” (1999), “Evelyn” (2002) and “Laws of Attraction” (2004).

The company's first studio project, “The Thomas Crown Affair,” was a critical and box-office success and one of the best-reviewed and highest-grossing romantic thrillers in years. “Evelyn,” directed by Bruce Beresford, opened to critical acclaim at the Toronto and Chicago Film Festivals and also garnered rave reviews. “Laws of Attraction,” a romantic comedy, which teamed Brosnan with Julianne Moore, focused on dueling divorce attorneys who fall in love.

In early 2007, look for Irish DreamTime’s sixth production “Butterfly on a Wheel” in which Brosnan stars with Maria Bello and Gerard Butler. The psychological thriller, centers on a happy couple with a seemingly perfect life whose daughter is abducted.

Over the course of a day, the kidnapper dismantles the family's lives with brutal efficiency.Perhaps best known worldwide as James Bond, Brosnan reinvigorated the popularity of the Bond legacy in box-office blockbusters such as “Goldeneye” (1995), “Tomorrow Never Dies” (1999), “The World Is Not Enough” (1999) and “Die Another Day” (2002).

Brosnan's first three Bond films earned over a billion dollars at the international box-office. His most recent Bond film, “Die Another Day,” was the most successful Bond film ever, garnering nearly a half-billion dollars worldwide. In addition to his four Bond films, three other Brosnan film -- “The Thomas Crown Affair,” “Dante's Peak” (1997) and “The Lawnmower Man” (1992) have earned hundreds of millions of dollars internationally, cementing him as one of the world’s most bankable stars.

Brosnan's other film credits include John Boorman's critically acclaimed film from the John LeCarre novel, “The Tailor of Panama” (2001), Bruce Beresford's “Mr. Johnson” (1990) and Sir Richard Attenborough's “Grey Owl” (1999). In addition to “The Matador,” Brosnan has also shown his comedic skills in such films as “Mrs. Doubtfire” (1993) and “Mars Attacks!” (1996). He also had a supporting role alongside Barbra Streisand in “The Mirror Has Two Faces” (1996).

Some of his many accolades include a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2002 Chicago Film Festival, the International Star of the Year at the Cinema Expo in Amsterdam, an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from the Dublin Institute of Technology, an Honorary Doctorate from the University College Cork and an Order of the British Empire bestowed by Her Majesty the Queen.

Brosnan was born in County Meath, Ireland and moved to London at age 11. At 20, he enrolled in drama school and while in London, performed in several West End stage productions including Franco Zeffirelli’s “Fulimena” and Tennessee Williams’ “The Red Devil Battery Sign” at the York Theater Royal. Before landing the role of James Bond, Brosnan had achieved worldwide recognition as private investigator Remington Steele on the popular television series of the same name. He lives in California and Hawaii with his wife Keely Shaye and their two children Dylan and Paris.

Inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs, writer Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny tale of family and friendship unfolds on a Greek island. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago," state press notes on the show, which features in its score songs such as "Dancing Queen"; "The Winner Takes It All"; "Money, Money, Money" and "Take A Chance on Me."

There are currently 11 productions of the musical running around the world (9 resident productions and 2 tours). With three productions playing in North America alone, Mamma Mia! can be experienced in six different languages globally (English, Swedish, Spanish, German, Japanese and Russian). The show has earned a worldwide gross of over $1.6 billion and audiences of over 27 million people worldwide.

Family man Brad spends time with his girls in New Orleans

Far away from the bright lights of Hollywood, silver screen stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were enjoying some family time in their new neighbourhood. The photogenic parents looked blissfully happy as they took daughter Zahara, two and nine-month-old Shiloh for a sunny stroll in New Orleans stopping to pick up some cakes and coffee from the famous Le Croissant d'Or bakery.

Looking co-ordinated in casual white tops, sunglasses and jeans, parenthood clearly agrees with the duo. Five-year-old son Maddox was the only one missing from the outing as he was at school. According to reports the boy-girl balance in the Jolie-Pitt clan could soon be redressed as the Mr And Mrs Smith co-stars are thought to be adopting another boy. The international adoption department in Vietnam has confirmed that Angelina has filed for permission to adopt with her partner.

"We consider her like any other American who wants to adopt children from Vietnam," said spokesman Vu Duc Long. "She is not yet married so the file was from her individually. It will take a few months for us to consider this," he added.

Brad and Angelina spent the Thanksgiving holiday last November in an orphanage near Ho Chi Minh City playing with the children. Angelina adopted her first child, Maddox, from Cambodia in 2002 and Zahara from Ethiopia three years later.

Spears struggling in rehab

Troubled pop star Britney Spears is struggling to cope with life in rehab and her family is worried she may drop out of treatment, according to media reports in the US.Spears checked into the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, California last month after several failed attempts at rehab.

Now a source tells American publication Us Weekly, Spears is wavering in her treatment, and her family is worried about her progress.

The singer's cousin Alli was on hand to offer support over the weekend, staying overnight at the facility on Friday and dropping by for visits on Saturday and Sunday.

The 25-year-old star hasn't left the centre since she travelled to a friend's apartment in Culver City, California last Thursday to pick up a bag of new clothes she purchased online from a trendy Los Angeles boutique.

The source adds: "(Her family) hope that Britney wills stay at Promises for a month, but they're nervous she might not last that long."

Angelina Jolie plans to adopt Vietnamese child, officials confirm

HANOI, Vietnam : Angelina Jolie has filed papers to adopt a Vietnamese child, the country's top adoption official said Friday.
A U.S. adoption agency representing Jolie filed the papers at Vietnam's International Adoption Agency, said Vu Duc Long, the agency's director.
"She just filed the papers this week," Long said.
Jolie and her superstar partner, Brad Pitt, have three children: 5-year-old Maddox, adopted from Cambodia; 2-year-old Zahara, adopted from Ethiopia; and another daughter, Shiloh, who was born to the couple in May.
Long would not name the U.S. adoption agency working with Jolie, who applied to adopt as a single parent.
Jolie and Pitt made a surprise visit to Vietnam at Thanksgiving, when they visited the Tam Binh orphanage, on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City.
Their pictures were splashed across the front page of Vietnamese newspapers, showing the couple cruising around Ho Chi Minh City on a motorbike.
Nguyen Van Trung, the director of the Tam Binh orphanage, declined to comment. He said he was awaiting the papers from the International Adoption Agency.

Frenchie Davis questions 'Idol' logic

The hit series "American Idol" is once again in the middle of a controversy after scandalous photos featuring "Idol" contestant Antonella Barba hit web sites last week. Judges Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest defended the singer and she stayed on at the show.

However Frenchie Davis, who was ousted after a similar fracas in 2003, questioned the logic behind allowing Barba to stay on."I couldn't help but notice the difference between the manner in which she was dealt with and how I was dealt with," Davis told The New York Post.

She added that she was encouraged by the fact that Idol has evolved, "but if the rules have changed, I believe there should be something to make up for the fact that I was humiliated needlessly."

Davis was 23 when she was booted off the Idol for baring her breasts in salacious pictures in 2003.

She says that the pictures in question were shot five years before her Idol appearance.

"It happened and I was honest about it . . . and weeks later they decided to kick me off the show … they said it was because of the photographs, but my photos certainly weren't sexual," she argued.Since then Davis has moved on and is a successful singer.

She also stars in Broadway in "Rent", which has had a four-year run.Reacting to her comments, Fox Television said in a statement that they had no intention of raking up old stories again, "We have never discussed the specifics of why Ms. Davis was eliminated, nor will we now," a statement said.

Bald Headed K-Fed Says He Did It For Britney

While his ex-wife, pop princess Britney Spears, is in rehab after she shaved her head completely bald, Kevin Federline reportedly told some of his friends he shaved his head too in order to show her his support.
The rapper wannabe’s buddies insist that K-Fed is still in love with Britney and that’s why he sticks with her through these hard times.
"He said he still loves her," The Sun quoted a pal as saying.
Britney isn’t far from feeling the same way Kevin Federline does. Her friends say she not only wants him back, but wants to have another child with him.
"Britney has realized what a rock Kevin has been to her, and how out of control she has acted recently. She has been talking to Kevin every night for hours on the phone, telling him she still loves him. She just wants to be with him again, and thinks having another baby will seal their marriage," the source said.
However, according to recent reports, Britney isn’t doing very well in rehab.
Us Weekly claims her cousin Alli has all but moved into the clinic to help keep an eye on her but the family still don’t think it’ll be enough to keep Britney on track. A source told the magazine: “They hope that Britney will stay at Promises for a month, but they’re nervous she might not last that long.”
After Britney checked herself in the Promises rehabilitation center in Malibu, British tabloid News of the World reported that the staff at the clinic said she was put on “suicide watch” after she tried to hang herself with a bed sheet.
A friend of hers told the newspaper that right before attempting to take her life, she had the number 666 written on her head and ran around the clinic yelling: “I am the Antichrist!”
"She is still very vulnerable. Last Saturday she said she had the number 666 written onto her bald head. She was crying, and shouting, 'I am the Antichrist!' The clinic people just didn't know what to do. Then she started screaming, 'I'm a fake! I'm a fake!' It must have been really frightening," the News of the World quoted the pal, as saying.
"Later that night she tried to kill herself. She attached a sheet to a light and tied it around her neck. Paramedics were called, but luckily she was unhurt," the pal added.

BRITNEY SPEARS IN REHAB SUICIDE BID

Singer Tries To Hang Herself

Troubled pop star Britney still seems to be tormented by her inner demons if reports from British tabloid newspaper The News of the World are true. The paper claims the 26-year-old singer tried to commit suicide this week.

Britney Spears has been a guest of the Promises Clinic in Malibu, California for the last ten days after the singer's bizarre behaviour culminated in a shaven head, tattoos and an attack on a vehicle using an umbrella.

The singer's increasingly worrying behaviour caused Britney's family to conspire en masse to persuade the pop princess that enough was enough - rehab was the only way forward. Mother of two Britney is reported to have been struggling to come to terms with life in rehab and the star's behaviour took a further downward spin with news this week that she attempted to commit suicide.

Britney is said to have scrawled the number 666 on her shaven head and run around the centre shouting "I am the Antichrist!" at shocked staff. A source told the newspaper "Later that night she tried to kill herself. She attached a sheet to a light and tied it around her neck.

Paramedics were called, but luckily she was unhurt." The singer's estranged husband, Kevin Federline, has been visiting Britney regularly and rumour has it that he has promised to give their marriage another go but only on the condition that the pill-popping princess gives up the drugs and booze.

Britney is also rumoured to have told K-Fed that she wants to have a third child with the would-be rapper who has been described recently as a "rock" for the support he has given his wife in the last week. Kevin has agreed to halt proceedings to obtain full custody of the couple's two children at least until Britney has completed her rehab treatment.
