American sweetheart Reese Witherspoon never fails to rest the eye especially when she walks the red carpet as she did Wednesday, October 10 at Rendition Premiere Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Beverly Hills, CA. She wore a strapless teal Nina Ricci gown that she carried off well despite its very subdued design.
If Reese did disappoint it was only the tabloids seeking fodder in the form of a revived romance between her and Rendition co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.
With her marriage to Ryan Phillippe having officially ended, Reese is single and free to marry.
The 31-year-old Walk the Line star is rumored to have resumed her relationship with Jake, 28, in July after having broken off in June. If that is indeed true it wasn't evident at the event.
The two barely interacted with each other except at one point when director Gavin Hood forced them to pose with him for a couple of photos.
