Angelina Jolie on the sets of 'The Changeling'

The authentic but loud look of a depression era mother looked jarring on Angelina Jolie, known world wide for her beauty and grace. The actress was on the sets of 'The Changeling' Tuesday, October 16, along with director Clint Eastwood.

She wore a cloche hat, short hair, bright red lipstick and the long brown fur coat and matching gloves.

Jolie, 32, remained focused on her work and listened carefully to director Clint Eastwood during the filming but smiled and laughed with the crew during the breaks.

The film is based on true events and tells the story of a woman whose child vanishes.

When the woman's son is returned she suspects police have given her the wrong boy and she is sent to an insane asylum for disagreeing with the LAPD. She later discovers her real son has been murdered and exposes a city-wide corruption scandal.

The film is due for release in 2008.
