Is Britney planning for a multi-million dollar cash-for-kids deal with K-Fed?

It seems that Britney Spears has decided to offer her ex-hubby Kevin Federline a hefty amount to gain joint custody of her two sons.

The pop star planned to make the move after K-Fed banned her from attending her youngest son Jayden James’ birthday party.

The singer’s pals say that Spears wants to solve the tussle before the rapper digs up dirt on her to ensure that she loses the custody of their kids.

“She is a caring devoted mum despite her crazy lifestyle. The kids mean the world to her. However she has finally come to terms with the fact that the way things are heading, she is going to lose them,” News of the World quoted her friends as saying.

"She is absolutely petrified at that thought—and she knows she will not win full custody. So she has decided to reach a compromise with Kevin where she will have most custody.”

"She realizes that she did go wild, often leaving the children with the nanny to go out partying and it doesn't reflect well on her.”

"Her breakdown will be used against her. And she's also worried that sleazy details of her sex life and alleged drug taking will emerge if there is a court hearing.”

“If he got custody it would mean massive sums in child maintenance and that is what Britney thinks he is after.”

"She thinks if she gives him a wad of dollars he can go take it and knock himself out," the friends added.

A source close to her also claimed that the ‘Toxic’ star was very upset when she wasn’t invited for her son’s birthday bash.

However, her parents and her sister were invited for the celebrations.

“It was a terrible day for Britney. But instead of going out clubbing to try to escape her problems as she has done in the past, she stayed at home crying all night."

Later the same week, it was her first son Sean Preston's second birthday.

The pal adds that the singer fears she is being sidelined.

"She feels she is being sidelined by her family. And she won't let that happen."
