50 Cent, Lil' Kim slapped with $2m lawsuit

Former collaborators 50 Cent and Lil' Kim might be reuniting - but this time in court.

The pair, who have been having an ongoing public spat, and their record labels have been punched with a 2 million dollar lawsuit by producer Carlos "Phantom of the Beat" Evans.

Evans said that they stiffed him on royalties from their smash hit "Magic Stick."

He claimed that the song sold 2 million copies and reached No. 2 on the Billboard charts, reports the New York Post.

But he was secluded when it came to monetary terms, and that all he received was an advance of 7,500 dollars.

50’s lawyer however claimed that it was Evans’ own fault for not being paid as he used a sample from another song without any permission.
