Bruce Willis denied entry into New York hotspot

Bruce Willis was denied entry into New York's nightspot Socialista, after he turned up when the place was to close down.

Willis accompanied by eight people arrived, but a guard did not let them in since it was time to close the club, a source reveals.

The source also added that Willis' accomplices started banging on the door, to no avail.

However, many who arrived later than the actor were allowed into the club.

"Bruce's entourage started banging on the door, to no avail, I guess they had reached their massive-ego quota," the New York Post quoted the source, as saying.

Ironically, Socialista owner Armin Amiri turns out to be a big fan of the Die Hard star.

Amiri said that he had just left the place, asking the guards to close down.

"I had just left and told the guys they could shut down for the night. I love [Bruce]," Amiri said.
