The Spice Girls have secretly been recording songs

Stories about the possibility of the Spice Girls' reunion have been authenticated, by the confidential recording sessions of the bandmates.

According to reports the English all-female band, which split in 2001, is back together recording a song and hope to be this year's Christmas No 1.

Recent snaps show Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton coming out of a secret recording session in a Brighton basement studio this week.

Reports claim that even the reluctant Mel C was present at the recording session.
"Its phenomenal news for them and the girls are really excited,” the News of the World quoted a Spice insider, as saying.

Posh Spice and Mel B , who are both in Los Angeles, will fly to England to record their parts in a few weeks.
