Robbie Williams, Guy Chambers to pen songs together again

Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers have buried the hatchet and agreed to write songs together again.

Chambers hopes to restore Robbie’s dwindling singing career when the duo gets into the studios again later this year.

According to a source, Rob and Guy have been talking to each other a lot and will reunite to pen their next masterpiece.

“Rob’s going back into the studio with Guy later in the year. They have been talking on the phone a lot and they are excited by it all. They were such good friends and together they were a dynamic partnership,” The Sun quoted the source, as saying.

“Rob’s also going to be working with Mark Ronson, William Orbit and Soul Mekanik on some songs. He is writing now and will hopefully have an album to release next year. He’s taking the rest of this year off from doing any public appearances but he is buzzing with ideas,” the source added.

Chambers helped make Robbie the biggest pop sensation in Britain, penning hits like ‘Angels’ with him, but the pair dramatically fell out when Williams signed a new 80 million pound deal with EMI in 2002.

Guy asked for more money but Robbie was so infuriated by the request that he broke the partnership.
