Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Rent out a Yacht

Actress Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt have rented a yacht for their stay in Cannes to keep their privacy.

Starmagazine.com reports, the Jolie-Pitt clan prefer to yacht on the French Riviera to the Hotel du Cap where most of the celebrities are shacking up for the festival.

"Never in the history of Cannes have I seen security like this," said Jouelle Beauxreves a local who has attended the festival since 10 years of age.

A source in the security team for Brad and Angelina told, “Despite the obvious fact that we can keep everyone away from the boat, (Brad and Angelina) did not want to stay at the Hotel du Cap with the rest of their colleagues,"

The couple joined producer Jerry Weintraub on his yacht, the RM Elegant, along with the rest of the Ocean's 13 cast Tuesday night for a party.

The party was sealed off at 9:30 pm and a row of speedboats with armed guards surrounded the yacht and turned away any approaching boat.

"It looked like a dog fight between speed boats. Photographers were zooming around trying to get any shot they could of the boat but security was just too tight," said a photographer.
