According to Vietnamnet, in a letter to Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice, Jolie reports that Pax has adapted to his new life very well. He is currently going to kindergarten with his younger sister Zahara.
He speaks full sentences in English and loves to recite funny stories. He also loves to play with motored toys.
"We believe he feels very safe in his home," Jolie goes on. "He laughs, sings, tells stories and is very fun to be around. He has a great sense of humor and is very imaginative.
"He is up to date with all his medical exams and vaccinations and has a very big appetite and developing properly. He is a wonderful addition to our family. We love him very much".
Jolie has also enclosed two photos of Pax along with her letter postmarked from her house in California.
Vietnamese law stipulates that parents who adopt a child from the country must update authorities on the progress of the child periodically during the first three years following adoption, and at least once every year later till the child is 18 years of age.
