Fox will play the bodyguard of magazine editor Wilhelmina Slater, to be played by Williams, in the 2nd season of the ABC comedy series.
According to a source, things get ‘heated’ between Slater and her bodyguard.
"Things get heated [between their characters]," the People quoted the source, as saying.
"He'll be playing Dwayne her bodyguard. He'll be there for at least two episodes,” the source said.
Williams married the former NBA basketball player Fox in September 1999 and they have a daughter together, Sasha Gabriella.
After pictures of Fox kissing another woman floated in mid-2004, his representative announced that the couple had been ‘headed toward divorce’ for over a year.
A few months later in August 2004, Fox filed for divorce.
