Tracie Rice, who filed her lawsuit against Lohan in Los Angeles County Superior Court on August 14, is suing the ‘Mean Girls’ star for intentional infliction of emotional distress, and is seeking unspecified damages and payment of expenses including medical treatment.
According to the lawsuit, Rice was accompanying Michelle Peck, the mother of Lohan's ex-assistant, on the early morning of July 24, when a large SUV started chasing Beck's car and "made a corresponding aggressive move in an effort to block their escape" every time Peck tried to drive away.
Then, per the suit, an unidentified man jumped out of the SUV and ran toward Peck's car, following which Rice called 911.
Rice also claimed that neither she nor Peck knew it was Lohan who was driving the other vehicle until the Mean Girls star was taken into custody.
"What Miss Lohan did that night was extremely dangerous and reprehensible. Someone could easily have been killed or seriously hurt because of her irresponsible decisions that evening,” E! Online quoted Rice, as saying.
"(She) put me through one of the most frightening experiences of my life,” she added.
Lohan was arrested in Santa Monica, California, on July 24 after the mother of her former assistant alerted police to the fact the hysterical actress was chasing her through the streets.
The incident followed another drunk-driving arrest earlier this year.
