Rihanna at Madonna's benefit

Young Barbadian singing sensation Rihanna rubbed shoulders with Hollywood's top stars at Madonna's benefit for Raising Malawi and Unicef at the United Nations grounds in New York City on Wednesday night, February 6.

Rihanna made an impressive style statement at the event which was marked by all round sartorial splendor.

She looked all grown up in a floor length emerald green halter dress with ruched cut-in shoulders and bodice. A black leather belt peeped through the folds of fabric gathered around the waist.

She accessorized with a chunky studded golden bracelet and a black studded clutch.

Her new short hairstyle and light makeup completed the impressive look.

Couples at the event include Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony and Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.

Madonna, accompanied by daughter Lourdes, charmed in a knee length long sleeve, cowl neck, silver grey Gucci dress in jersey fabric with a black leather belt. She wore matching color pumps.
