The couple's four children - Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 2 and Shiloh, 1, rode with them wearing helmets and securely strapped to their seats.
They rode down their street. At one point the chain on Angelina's cycle broke prompting her assistant to come to her rescue. He repaired the chain as an amused Brad waited and watched. Soon the family was on its way once again.
The celebrity couple also made an appearance Saturday to help support the efforts of The Children's Health Fund to focus attention on the more than 46,000 children still displaced two-and-a-half years after hurricanes Katrina and Rita destroyed their homes.
Jolie and Pitt posed for photographs with the displaced children.
Addressing a press conference Jolie, who is also the goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, said, "This is the largest displacement of children in my own country so I want to learn as much as possible."
Pitt is actively involved in the Make it Right project that is building 150 environmentally friendly homes in the Katrina-devastated Lower 9th Ward, one of the city's most impoverished neighborhoods.
