Unlike some of the other A-listers who got a preferential treatment, the former Lost star is spending her nights on a bunk bed in a common area where 183 other general prisoners sleep.
"Michelle is one tough cookie and can handle general population just fine,” the New York Post quoted a source, as saying.
“She is participating in the inmate worker program, serving food and doing other jobs as assigned.
“Michelle has been extremely cooperative and professional and doesn't want to use her celebrity status to get special privileges," the source added.
Rodriguez was sentenced to 180-days in jail after violating her probation on drink driving and hit-and-run offences.
