Has Lindsay Lohan started drinking after rehabilitation?

Rehabbed actress Lindsay Lohan enjoyed a few drinks during her Thanksgiving visit to New York, sources allege.

"She has been drinking a little bit. Over her week in New York, she did have a few drinks," the New York Daily News quoted a source close to the actress, as saying.

The source, however, insisted that Lohan’s alcohol intake was in moderation.

"For Lindsay, her real problem was drugs, not alcohol. In the past, it wasn't the drinking that was the problem - it was the heavy drug use," said the source.

"The drug use was way more intense than her party drinking. As long as she isn't doing drugs, she's okay," the source added.

However, a spokeswoman for Lohan has assailed claims of liquor consumption by the actress.

"These so-called friends are making up things about her," she said.

Lindsay Lohan Leaves Rehab: Report

Actress was photographed checking out of Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah on Friday, according to People.

According to the magazine, the actress was photographed leaving the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah on Friday afternoon (October 5) after an extensive stay that lasted roughly two months. She was also seen with her father, Michael, who was carrying her suitcases.

"I will be there in her life as best I can but from here on she's going to have a lot of decisions to make on her own," Michael Lohan told People on Friday. "Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best."

"I'm proud of her," Lindsay's mother, Dina, told People on Friday. "She's moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal."

Lindsay and her long-estranged father reportedly met twice while she was at the Utah center, during her third stint of rehab this year. People reported in early September that she had recently seen her dad for the first time since he was released from prison in March. The magazine also reported earlier this month that the actress was due to spend five days with her father at a remote lodge in the Utah mountains as part of her recovery.

The 21-year-old actress entered rehab after being pulled over by police July 24 in Santa Monica, California, and arrested less than two weeks after leaving a rehabilitation facility. She faced five counts, including driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and possession of narcotics, according to a Santa Monica Police Department spokesperson. TMZ reported that Lohan checked into a facility hours after the arrest; Lohan's attorney, Blair Berk, said in a statement that the actress was "safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care."

On August 23, Lohan caught a break when prosecutors charged her with seven misdemeanors for her two DUI arrests earlier in the year. Escaping more serious felony charges that could have landed her in jail for more than a year, she was charged with two counts each of driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08 percent and being under the influence of cocaine; and one count of reckless driving, according a report from the Los Angeles district attorney's office.

That same day, she struck a plea deal on the misdemeanor DUI and drug charges and was ordered to spend one day in jail, serve 10 days of community service and complete a drug-treatment program. She is also on probation for 36 months, is required to complete an 18-month alcohol-education program, pay hundreds of dollars in fines and finish a three-day county coroner program that will require her to visit a morgue and talk to victims of drunken drivers. She will not have to stand trial.

"It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs," Lohan wrote in a statement released to MTV News. "Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to charges in my case.

People also reports that Lohan is planning to return to acting soon and will start filming the tango movie "Dare to Love Me" in Los Angeles on October 15.

Britney Spears' friends and family desperate she joins Lindsay Lohan in rehab

The 'Toxic' singer - who was ordered to take regular drug tests last week by the judge overseeing her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline for their two sons - has continued her wild partying and friends want her to seek help at Utah's Cirque Lodge rehabilitation clinic.

A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: "If Britney finally acknowledges that she must face her addictions, then that's the best place. It's working for Lindsay, and hopefully Britney will see that as inspiration."

The insider also revealed Britney's mother Lynne received an anonymous phone call last week, tipping her off about the singer's drug taking.

The source revealed: "It was one of Britney's friends saying he'd seen Britney take four Ecstasy pills in the bedroom of a Hollywood Hills home during a party on August 11.

"Lynne was also told that Britney has done the drug more recently - and she's taken Ativan, an anti-anxiety medication, to help her come down because the Ecstasy was so intense. Lynne put down the phone and froze."

The 25-year-old singer could lose custody of two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James after her former bodyguard gave evidence stating he had witnessed her taking drugs.

Former *NSYNC member Joey Fatone is the latest star to offer Britney a hideout.

Joey told US TV channel Extra: "Britney, call me, come over to my house, come to Orlando, get away from it all. It's a good thing to get out of Los Angeles.

"I think she just needs some time, some time to really heal. If you're there, let me know. I'm here for you, sweetheart."

Meanwhile, Britney's pop comeback is looking up.

The singer - who was pictured this week leaving a recording studio clutching a margarita, a CD and wearing a huge diamond ring on her engagement finger - will be celebrating as her latest single 'Gimme More' is currently at No. 3 in the iTunes singles chart and No. 1 in their ringtones chart.

Lindsay Lohan does drugs and sex in rehab!

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been caught taking drugs and having sex in a toilet cubicle with a male patient while in rehab.

The 'Mean Girls' star was allegedly forced to undergo a drugs test by staff at Utah's Cirque Lodge facility, and the results came back positive.

Lindsay, 21, has now been warned if she does not stay clean she will be thrown out of the centre.
A source is quoted as saying: "Lindsay got called into the director's office on August 15 and was questioned about drugs. When ordered to take a drug test, she reluctantly complied but screamed and cursed at the medical director before storming out the room. She was told that if she couldn't conform to the program she'd have to leave."

According to reports it is not Lindsay's first indiscretion since entering Cirque Lodge earlier this month.

She is said to have been caught having sex in a toilet cubicle with a male patient, and is reportedly frequently late to meetings and refuses to do any chores or menial tasks such as washing up.

Lindsay entered the rehab centre following her arrest on July 24 after she crashed her car following a high-speed car chase in Santa Monica. She was in possession of cocaine when she was taken into custody.

Last week, Lindsay pleaded guilty to two charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance (cocaine) and pleaded no contest to two charges of DUI (driving under the influence of alcohol). She also pleaded no contest to one charge of reckless driving.

After entering her plea bargain, she was sentenced to one day in jail and 36 months probation for her offences and ordered to undergo an 18-month alcohol rehabilitation program.

This is the troubled actress' third stint in rehab. She previously stayed at the Wonderland and Promises facilities in Los Angeles.

Jogging, rafting and rehab with Lindsay in Utah

Once again, Lindsay Lohan’s been spotted outside her Utah rehab retreat. And while she looked like she was moving pretty quickly, it wasn’t to the spray-on tan salon or even the Abercrombie & Fitch like her recent off-campus field trips.

Photogs snapped LiLo hitting the healthy trail for a jog with some dogs, TMZ reports. Carrying a big bottle of what the web site and the rest of us all hope is water, Ms. Lohan was accompanied by both human and canine companions. She also looked perfectly fit in her blue sweats and a trucker hat with the word “Faith” embossed on the front.

Making the most of the great outdoors, Lindsay was also spied riding high on a white water raft winding down Utah’s Provo River, reports People magazine. Instead of a “Faith” hat, Lindsay’s red head was covered with a pirate-style bandana and her boating companions wore black painted-on pirate moustaches, the magazine reports. Lindsay “looked like she was having a good time,” a source at High Country Rafting told People.
“They were all splashing each other and stuff.”

Lindsay`s Rehab Costs 22,500 Euro Per Month

Lindsay Lohan is at an exclusive Utah rehab clinic.

“Mean Girls” star is at a rehab clinic in Utah. The clinic is question is considered to be the most exclusive rehab centre.

It is necessary to single out 22,500 euro for only a month in the clinic. Still, the Lohans believe that, just as the previous two clinics, this one is more of a health centre rather than a rehab clinic.

Thus, clients can get a pedicure and a manicure at the rehab institution, enjoy the jacuzzi, sauna and the gym. The clinic staff says it is their task to offer premises where they can find their bearings and decide for themselves to stay sober.

Keith Urban Says Wife Nicole Kidman Put Him in Rehab

Country singer Keith Urban’s sales from his latest CD fell after he checked into rehab and Urban says he has his wife actress Nicole Kidman to thank for it.

Urban checked into the Betty Ford clinic in January for 90 days and credits Kidman who "really took the reins" and steered him towards rehab and some crucial time off, reports The Tennessean.

The rehab stint came amidst promoting his newly released album Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing which has sold over 1.7 million copies.

But Urban has no regrets, "Not going in would have cost me my career at the very least, and my marriage would have been gone, anyway," he said. "That real cleansing and surrendering everything is what was really needed for me.”

Oscar-winning actress stood besides Urban, her husband of four months at the time through his recovery.

"I'm never away from my wife for more than two weeks," told the singer who feels like an old man. "I don't want to be.

“And in that old man view, I'm never going to look back and think, 'I wish I'd toured for one more week in July.' That doesn't make any sense. I'm trying to find a quality of life, and that comes with trade-offs and sacrifices and balance. Playing massive stadiums is not going to fill any hole in me."

Lindsay Lohan Out Of Rehab

Lindsay Lohan is out of rehab, her rep confirmed to The ShowBuzz Sunday. Leslie Sloane Zelnick said that Lohan is wearing an alcohol monitoring bracelet — her choice — which Zelnick said "just proves her determination to stay sober." Zelnick also confirmed that Lohan went to Las Vegas this weekend, where she threw a surprise birthday party for her assistant at the nightclub Pure.

The "Mean Girls" actress, who turned 21 on July 2, checked into rehab at Promises in Malibu, Calif. six weeks ago, after she crashed her Mercedes Benz into a curb and was photographed slumped in the passenger seat of a friend's car during a wild Memorial Day weekend. It was her second rehab stint this year. Lohan said in January she had checked into a rehabilitation center for substance abuse treatment.

Lindsay Lohan's rehab happiness

Lindsay Lohan is "happy" in rehab.
The 'Mean Girls' star is said to be settling in well at Malibu's Promises rehab centre since entering on Monday (28.05.07), two days after being arrested for DUI (driving under the influence).

Lindsay's stylist friend Nate Newell told People magazine: "She's happy where she is and is just taking time to herself to learn and be OK. I've been in touch with her and she likes it.

"She's in the public eye 24 hours a day, she's gotten caught up in it all.

"I think she surrounds herself with good people generally, but all the pressure that she's around has created this alternate universe in a way and it's hard for her to stay grounded.

"Last time she was back and forth from the 'I Know Who Killed Me' set, but this time she'll totally be there.

"She just needs to be away from everyone and not get attacked by the paparazzi. She's doing really, really well."

The 20-year-old actress spent a month in West Hollywood's Wonderland centre to be treated for alcoholism, but was allowed out in the day to attend Alcoholic's Anonymous meetings and film scenes for her latest movie 'I Know Who Killed Me'.

During her stay, she sent text messages to friends admitting she was craving burgers and sex.
Meanwhile, Svedka Vodka have pulled out of sponsoring Lindsay's 21st birthday bash in Las Vegas in July.

The 'Georgia Rule' star is reportedly still planning to leave rehab and head straight to the city to celebrate the landmark date when she will finally reach the legal drinking age in the US.

The young star was planning to party at Caesars Palace, the Social House restaurant at Treasure Island and Pure nightclub.

Pure Management are organising her celebrations but refused to comment on whether they are going ahead with the plans.

A spokeswoman said: "We think the world of Lindsay and wish her the best."

Lindsay turns 21 on July 2.

Britney's new boyfriend back in rehab

Singer songwriter Howie Day, whom Britney met at Promises rehab and went out with late last month, has checked himself back into rehab.

Britney met Howie at Malibu's Promises center while was being treated for alcoholism and alleged post-partum depression.

The 25-year-old mother-of-two played tennis with Howie during her stay at the center and the pair were also allegedly caught frolicking in the bushes.

Late last month (04.29.07), Britney and Howie dined out at Hollywood's The Bridge restaurant - one of Britney's favorite eateries - and then visited nightclubs Element, Les Deux, Parc and finally Teddy's where they partied on Saturday night (04.29.07).

A friend of Howie told Life & Style that Howie is upset with the reversal but is confident he will recover. The friend does not expect Britney and Howie to get back together since both of them face similar problems.

Howie was arrested in Boston in December 2005 for verbally abusing the flight crew while under the influence of alcohol and sleeping pills. He was sentenced to one year's probation on April 26, 2006.

Britney Spears leaves rehab

The pop star checked out of Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility "after successfully completing their program," the pop star's manager, Larry Rudolph, said in a statement released by Jive Records late Tuesday. "We ask that the media respects her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."
Spears, 25, entered the facility Feb. 22, after a bout of bizarre behavior that included shaving her head, getting tiny lips tattooed on her wrist and beating a car with an umbrella, with photos of the incidents instantly beamed worldwide.
Spears' activities have been weekly magazine fodder since she filed for divorce from aspiring rapper Kevin Federline in November. The two have joint custody of their sons, Jayden James, 6 months, and Sean Preston, 18 months. Federline and the children reportedly visited Spears during her treatment.
Federline, an aspiring rapper who released his debut album in November, will celebrate his 29th birthday Wednesday with a party at West Hollywood nightclub Eleven. A second bash will be held at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday, said Federline's publicist, Marilyn Lopez.
Spears has not disclosed why she sought treatment at Promises, which offers detox, counseling and 12-step programs. A 30-day stay at the plush, oceanfront facility costs $48,000.

Spears struggling in rehab

Troubled pop star Britney Spears is struggling to cope with life in rehab and her family is worried she may drop out of treatment, according to media reports in the US.Spears checked into the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, California last month after several failed attempts at rehab.

Now a source tells American publication Us Weekly, Spears is wavering in her treatment, and her family is worried about her progress.

The singer's cousin Alli was on hand to offer support over the weekend, staying overnight at the facility on Friday and dropping by for visits on Saturday and Sunday.

The 25-year-old star hasn't left the centre since she travelled to a friend's apartment in Culver City, California last Thursday to pick up a bag of new clothes she purchased online from a trendy Los Angeles boutique.

The source adds: "(Her family) hope that Britney wills stay at Promises for a month, but they're nervous she might not last that long."

Robbie Williams Out Of Rehab

With celebrity rehab becoming the latest Hollywood trend, it's in and out before you can even call it a month. But why anyone would think 21 days is a decent amount of time for any kind of addict to receive exclusive treatment is beyond me.
It's been confirmed that Robbie Williams has checked out of rehab early.
The troubled singer reportedly ignored medical advice and left his month-long program a week early on Tuesday night.
However, a spokesman for Robbie, Bryony Watts, said, "Robbie has completed treatment in Arizona and continues with an after-care program in Los Angeles."
Robbie has returned to his Los Angeles mansion to be looked after by his mother Jan, who is a drugs and alcohol counselor.
The 56-year-old mom insists her son's decision to get help on his 33rd birthday was the "best present he could give himself."
It had been reported Robbie was staying at Arizona's Meadows Center, but he was actually at the $900-a-night Cottonwood de Tucson, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.
The clinic - said to be one of the toughest in the U.S. - makes patients share rooms, wake up at 7 a.m. and eat in a basic cafeteria.
Patients are ordered to detox for the first five days and only allowed to go on supervised day trips. They also undergo intense group therapy before having one-to-one meetings with a therapist.
While he was in rehab, Robbie spent his time studying British trivia.
A source said, "He's trying to keep his brain active. He wants to brush up on his British and U.S. history."
The "Angels" singer, who became hooked on anti-depressants, sleeping pills and caffeine, checked into rehab on February 13.
