Beyoncé Knowles, bursting out of her ample self in a sequined bareback mini dress with a plunging neckline, still managed to look gorgeous at the opening of 40/40 Club at the Palazzo Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, NV, Sunday, December 30.

The upscale Sports Bar and Lounge is owned by Beyoncé beau Jay-Z.

It wasn't the best choice of dress for the 26-year-old singer, not just because it threatened a wardrobe malfunction anytime but, because it accentuated the undesirable curves that the singer has now acquired.

Anyway, we know Beyoncé likes to be squeezed by her dresses and if nothing else they keep her on her toes continually adjusting them so that she doesn't pop out of them.

Her fluffy hair do added to the impression that there was more width than height to the ensemble.

We loved her strappy silver sandals though which combined with her soft makeup gave her an ethereal look.

The silver oval dangle earrings and a silver charm bracelet seemed just the right amount of jewelry.

Overall she looked gorgeous managing to overcome the shortcomings in her dress with her poise, glowing skin, shining eyes and a bewitching smile.

Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z married: report

The superstar couple are said to be "blissfully happy" after tying the knot in a small private ceremony in Paris, during which they reportedly had personal inscriptions tattooed on their ring fingers.

A source said: "They didn't want all the attention that usually follows them around, they just wanted it to be intimate and romantic. It was lovely and they are both blissfully happy.

"They thought the tattoos would be a lovely personal touch."

It had been rumored that Jay-Z proposed to the Beyoncé, 26, during a luxury holiday in Cannes at the end of May.

The 'Irreplaceable' singer said previously: "I want to get married and I really want a family. In a perfect world I'd have two boys and a girl. You know someone loves you by the way he treats you and respects you. Me and Jay respect each other."

Earlier this month the pair celebrated Jay-Z's 38th birthday by watching an erotic cabaret show at Paris' famous nightclub le Crazy Horse Paris.

They began dating after collaborating on the hit single '03 Bonnie and Clyde' in 2002.

Rihanna does an about turn on dating Josh Hartnett

Rihanna has denied she is dating Josh Hartnett, despite recently gushing about him.

The Umbrella singer has been seen partying with the handsome actor on several occasions, but insists they're just good friends.

She told Allure magazine: "This is what really happened. He and my management, they have each other's contact information. I went to the New York club Pink Elephant, and he came by.

All of a sudden, the next day, I'm seeing that we were kissing and hugging up each other.

"You can't even go out with a friend who's a celebrity and have a good time without people making stuff up.

"Well, at least he's good-looking, right?"

It seems Rihanna has had a change of heart regarding her relationship with Josh.

She recently said: "I would be lying if I told you we were not more than just friends. I have so fallen for him, he is lovely. He is so hot and he is really sweet to me. When we hang out it feels right - even though it's still pretty new."

The 19-year-old star also revealed she is not close to Beyoncé Knowles, whose lover Jay-Z is president of Rihanna's record label Def Jam.

She said: "She's Beyoncé, and I'm his new protégée. When we see each other we say hi. We're not enemies, but we're not friends."

Jay-Z celebrates 38th birthday with Beyonce in Paris

Jay-Z celebrated his 38th birthday by watching an erotic cabaret show in Paris with girlfriend Beyoncé Knowles.

The hip-hop star arrived in the French capital and checked into the exclusive Le Meurice hotel on Monday (03 Dec 2007), with Beyoncé joining him the following day, Jay-Z's actual birthday.

In the evening, the pair - who spent most of Tuesday morning (04 Dec 2007) in their hotel suite - enjoyed a limo drive around the romantic capital of the world, before heading to L'Avenue for an intimate dinner.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé, 26, then caught the late show at the famous cabaret club le Crazy Horse Paris.

The couple sipped champagne as they watched a troupe of semi-naked women perform the saloon's sensual Forever Crazy Revue in the velvet and mirror adorned venue.

Jay-Z's celebrations are more low-key than last year when Beyoncé reportedly splashed out $3 million for a three-day birthday extravaganza in the Caribbean.

The singer charted two planes to fly 20 of the rapper's closest friends to the paradise island of St. Martin.

The exclusive group - which is said to have included Beyoncé's former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland - relaxed on a private yacht and were treated to a constant supply of champagne and luxury foods.

Beyonce And Jay-Z Wedding: “One Day Soon”

They’ve been dating for over four years, and they’ve stood the test of time and media. So when the heck are Jay-Z and Beyonce planning on tying the knot?

According to the rap mogul, “One day soon- let’s leave it at that.” Jay was in Las Vegas for a press conference when he announced the opening of a 40/40 club (his third) in Sin City.


The “99 Problems” rapper plans to unleash on Vegas this December 20th when his club opens in the luxury Palazzo hotel. When asked if he’d consider getting married in Las Vegas, Jay said, “I don’t know. It’s kind of comfortable here. If [Palazzo President Rob Goldstein] throws in the ring, who knows?”

And Jay says he may even call Sin City home someday. “Las Vegas is like no other place in the world. I’m going to ask (Goldstein) for advice. He’s pretty good with the real estate. We’ll see what happens.”

It seems that pop star Beyonce may soon be walking down the aisle as beau Jay-Z popped the question during a luxury holiday in Cannes at the end of May.

The couple, who have been dating since 2002, are reportedly getting set for a big autumn wedding in Hawaii.

"This will be the hip-hop wedding to end all hip-hop weddings," the News of the World quoted a close pal, as saying.

Jay-Z, who cancelled a tour of the US promoting his Roc-A-Fella business empire to see his lady love perform in the UK, has apparently promised Beyonce "the biggest diamond she can fit on her finger" when she decides on a design for her engagement ring.

Beyonce had recently revealed that she wanted to settle down and have kids.

"I want to get married and really want a family—in a perfect world I'd have two boys and a girl. You know someone loves you by the way he treats you and respects you. Me and Jay respect each other," she said.

A spokesman for Jay-Z however refused to comment on the couple’s reported engagement or wedding plans.
