Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal: Lunch Date

As individuals, both Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon tend to steer clear of drama. So it’s no wonder that they prefer their romance to be low key.

The longtime twosome was spotted grabbing some lunch yesterday afternoon out in Los Angeles, California, looking so happy together. And as they finished their meal, both the “Sweet Home Alabama” cutie and her “Day After Tomorrow” beau left in the same vehicle.

Reese looked sweet in a casual blue belted dress with a dark cardigan sweater and a pair of strappy sandals, while Jake opted for a more macho white v-neck t-shirt and a pair of jeans.

Witherspoon’s latest project is a movie called “Four Christmases” (due out in November). She told press, “The movie is all about family. It’s about the connection with your mother and your father, and those dynamics, so I really think people are going to relate to it. [But also,] it’s about divorce. It’s about how people have step-families and [need to] negotiate going to your mom’s and your dad’s. I really think people haven’t seen many movies like that.”

David and Victoria Beckham’s Post-Game Dinner Date

They say that Paris is a great city for lovers. And David and Victoria Beckham put it’s reputation to the test last night following the England vs. France soccer match.

Becks and Posh showed up at a party at Baccarat Lounge Restaurant looking very loved up and stylish. The Spice Girl sported a charcoal and black fitted dress, while her beau opted for a dark suit, displaying his Team England badge.

And although his team lost to France 1-0, David was still in celebratory mode. After all, his appearance on the French pitch with Team England earned him his 100th cap.

Becks told press, “My parents are here, my granny is watching back home, my sister, my sons and my wife are also here. I’m very proud. Reaching 100 caps doesn’t happen every day but, like I said before the game, I am hoping it is not 100 and out. I want to carry on playing for my country.”

Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso: Date Night

Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso strolled arm-in-arm after an evening out at London’s ever-popular Cipriani restaurant.

The couple are coming off of the big announcement that they are expecting their second child together and third in all, as Luciana has another child from a previous marriage.

Besides spending time with his lovely lady, the Bourne Ultimatum actor is also teaming up with Boston pal Ben Affleck in support of Barack Obama.

According to press reports, “The two actors are part of a new effort from MoveOn.org to create a television ad in support of Barack Obama’s bid for the White House.”

The statement continues, “The liberal group, which endorsed the Illinois senator last month, is asking its 3.2 million members to create a 30 second campaign commercial that ‘shows what inspires them about the senator’s candidacy.’”

Damon and Affleck, along with famed director Oliver Stone and singer John Legend, are among the panel of judges to decide which ad spot is the winner.

Brangelina Dinner Date, Pre-Nup?

The paps over in Brentwood, California last night got an extra-special treat. Not only were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spotted grabbing dinner, but they were joined by none other than actor/director/writer/composer Clint Eastwood!

And it sounds like wedding bells could be ringing for Brangelina. There are some serious rumors circulating that the “Fight Club” stud and his “Girl Interrupted” partner have been busy hammering out a $200 million prenuptial agreement in preparation for a wedding later this year.
A source told press, “They have both been through divorces and are wise enough not to marry without a pre-nup in place. They know the score. They know that, if God forbid, things don’t work out, they can make a clean break and go their separate ways with their separate assets.”

And that means separate bank accounts. “There are no joint bank accounts and there never will be. They keep their money separate and will continue to do so after they’re married. It’s a relief to Angie because she doesn’t have to oversee Brad’s spending. He has expensive tastes and spends huge amounts on motorcycles, art and property.”

The custody issue of their children is also included in the agreement, according to an insider.

“You won’t see any messy custody battle here. Brad will always be their dad. They will ensure that the children won’t want for a single thing for the rest of their lives. But hopefully they will have a happily married mom and dad.”
