Taking an evening to mingle with friends, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes threw a big housewarming party at their Los Angeles mansion.

Celebrity pals and movie industry chiefs showed up with their drivers one-by-one, with A-listers including Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, Oprah Winfrey and Jennifer Lopez all in attendance.

Describing the evening affairs, an OK! magazine source tells: “From the street, the sounds of horns pierced the warm night air as a full orchestra played big-band music throughout the night, at one point striking up a rendition of the Mission Impossible theme song.”

“Guests were treated to a formal sit-down dinner, which took place outside under a giant black tent covering the entire front of the estate alongside a large rectangular fountain. Behind the main house in the yard, an outdoor lounge offered comfortable sofas,” the insider report adds.

Paris Hilton buys Mediterranean-style mansion in Beverly Hills

Less than eight days after selling her Hollywood pad for 4.25 million dollars, Paris Hilton has reportedly purchased a five-bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills, California.

The hotel heiress sold off her 3.000-square foot, Spanish style pad which she bought in 2004, as she wanted to relocate to a secluded place to avoid the paparazzi after the drama following her arrest and release.

According to US Weekly the new home located in a gated community has its own gym and a gourmet kitchen.

The Mediterranean-style mansion also has a pool, complete with Jacuzzi, waterfall and hotel-style cabanas, as well as separate guest quarters and a separate office.

Earlier, the residents of Hollywood hills circulated a petition asking their neighbors to bring in the police to attend to the swarm of photogs and noise levels due to Hilton’s arrest.

Actress Cameron Diaz was also among the residents who expressed her displeasure.

Jolie Buying LA Mansion Without Pitt

Reports have been coming out stating that Angelina Jolie has been searching for a house in Los Angeles without Brad Pitt.

It seems that Jolie has been out searching and looked at a $2 million luxury villa in Laurel Canyon over the weekend. The current owner of the pad Wolfgang Wind stated that “It was very strange because it was just her, no bodyguard, no assistant, no nanny, no kids an dno Brad. I had no idea who the potential buyer was until I saw her.”

When describing Jolie the owner stated “She looked extremely skinny. She was very flattering and said the house was extremely nic and I am hoping that she’ll make an offer.”

But where is Brad in all of this? Sources are stating that Jolie and Brad Pitt have been having many issues with their relationship as of late even though Jolie has denied such rumors.
