Brangelina’s Windy City Boat Outing

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made a stand against all of those claiming the couple to be on troubled waters by taking a family outing in Chicago yesterday (August 18). The funny thing is, troubled waters actually ended up cutting their day short.

On what started as a beautiful Chicago afternoon, the entire Jolie-Pitt clan made their way down to the Windy city’s air and water display. Angelina happened to be taking advantage of a much-needed day off from the filming of her new movie, Wanted.

And while everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, the boat trip was hindered by choppy waters and rain, which meant they had to go back to the dock.

Followed by paparazzi, the Jolie-Pitt clan then headed back to their temporary home at the Peninsula Chicago hotel, which saw Gwyneth Paltrow as a guest just a few days prior.

Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie arrive in Chicago

Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie arrived via private jet in Chicago. Brad carried a sleepy Maddox and Zahara while Angelina carried Shiloh to their awaiting SUVs.

The couple celebrated the sixth birthday of their son Maddox on Sunday, Aug 5 at their oceanfront property in Santa Barbara, Calif.

The celebrations started Saturday and spanned the weekend. They centered around a game of capturing the flag and had Maddox, his friends, Brad, Angelina and even Zahra donning camouflage fatigues and painting their faces like commandos.
