Audrina Patridge Shopping in Bikini with Lauren Conrad

Making for quite the sight to be seen, Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge were spotted out filming “The Hills” in Los Angeles.

The MTV reality starlets headed off to do a little shopping at Ashley Paige, where Audrina tried on an itsy-bitsy bikini while Lauren happily looked on.

Meanwhile, co-star Brody Jenner recently dished on his thoughts about LC’s future on “The Hills,” saying, “She works her butt off and has other things going on. It’s time for her to maybe take a little break.”

“I think everybody on The Hills is only focused on drama,” Jenner added. “There’s only so much drama you can talk about! I mean, Justin Bobby and Audrina [Patridge]?”

Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge Celebrate Brody Jenner’s Birthday at the Beach

Always ready for a reason to party, Brody Jenner and some of his fellow cast members from “The Hills” took a mini vacation to Cabo San Lucas over the weekend.

The group was there celebrating Jenner’s 25th birthday, with Brody being joined by co-stars Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Frankie Delgado and Doug Rienhart.

According to insider reports, the crew stayed at LG Villa (a private mansion at a Mexican resort) where they lounged on the beach all day and partied all night.

Each of the guys had his own accommodations at the seven-bedroom estate, while Lauren and Audrina opted to share the Honeymoon Suite together.

After arriving last Thursday, “They went bananas,” a source tells press “They partied until about 3 a.m.—cocktails, birthday cake, in and out of the pool. Friday night was crazier—they were up until 8 a.m., beer and margaritas all night,” the source adds.

Lauren Conrad looking HOT at Big Mac Event

Lauren Conrad

Seemingly always in the mood for a good party, Lauren Conrad was out on Sunday celebrating the 40th Anniversary of McDonald’s Big Mac in Malibu, California.

Enjoying the company of fellow reality stars Kim Kardahsian and her sister Khloe, “The Hills” cutie kept busy at the Project Beach House shindig, relaxing on a lounge chair in between mingling and a few autographs.

As previously reported by Mag55, LC has been busy defending herself from rumors that she doesn’t actually design the clothes in her collection.

“The rumors that I am not the designer of my own collection are ridiculous and hurtful,” the 22-year-old told Us magazine. “I’ve been involved in this entire process, every single step of the way.”

“I have wanted to be a fashion designer since I was a little girl. I grew up designing and sewing dresses for my Barbie dolls, and the Lauren Conrad Collection has been my dream come true,” she adds.

Lauren Conrad Preps for LA Fashion Week

Lauren Conrad

Sure, she’s the cute and quasi-innocent designer wannabe we all know and love from “The Hills.” But Lauren Conrad has her sights set much higher, and she’s taking the necessary steps to achieve her aspirations.

Yesterday, she was spotted along with pal Whitney Port at the Orthodox Fall 2008 collection show as part of Los Angeles Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. And come Tuesday, the spectators at Fashion Week will get an eyeful of LC’s creations.

That’s right, Conrad is showcasing her very own collection tomorrow, and while she’s still a little wet behind the ears, something tells us this girl is gonna surprise even her most vehement critics.

Of being showcased at LA Fashion Week, Lauren told press, “I’m really nervous. It’s one thing to have your designs displayed in stores. To have them walk down the runway is a really big deal.”

Stay tuned to Gossip Girls for full coverage of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Los Angeles!

Lauren Conrad Celebrates 22nd Birthday

Lauren Conrad celebrated her Brithday Party at Katsuya with friends from The Hills

Earlier this week, one of our favorite Hills hotties, Lauren Conrad, celebrated her 22nd birthday. And from the looks of it, it was quite a party.

The socialite/reality TV star chose none other than Hollywood’s Katsuya restaurant as the setting for her Wednesday night bash. And crew members arrived at about 8:30pm to prepare filming for Conrad’s 9:45 arrival.

The guest list included fellow Hills-ers Lauren “Lo” Bosworth and Whitney Port, both of whom were wearing party hats. They snacked on edamame, spicy tuna, and birthday cake- what a combination!

During dinner, LC was honored with a toast. “The group toasted Conrad’s birthday during their meal and couldn’t have looked happier. [She] was chatting with all of her friends and [smiling].”

Reportedly, after dinner, it was all about getting some great shots (camera, not vodka) in for the Hills new season.

Lauren Conrad sleeps while boyfriend flirts

Reality television star Lauren Conrad might need to stay alert even during boozing, for her new boyfriend/ actor Josh Henderson seemed to be taken by a model while she was high.

The couple arrived at the Belvedere Sky Villa Suite after the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.

A witness revealed that Conrad "appeared to be nodding off," after she gulped pegs of Vodka.

"Around 3:30 a.m. [Monday], she literally fell over in her chair backwards with her legs up," laughs the witness. "I've never seen that happen before," NY Daily quoted witness, as saying.
A source revealed that Desperate Housewives star Henderson then got involved with a bikini-clad model called Taylor who was working in the suite, while his girlfriend drowsed.

"He had his hands all over her," a source said.

"At one point, he picked her up and was bouncing her," source added.

L.C. to Heidi -- Stop Deluding Yourself 'Cause I Won't

Read Lauren Conrad's freshly-glossed lips: No singing from me.

Demonstrating Socratic volumes of self-awareness and spewing more than a little betch-venom Heidi Montag's way, L.C. tells In Touch magazine, "I promise you: I'll never release an album!" This, apparently, comes in response to frenemy Heidi's more or less disastrous debut of her single "Body Language" yesterday on Ryan Seacrest's radio show yesterday. (Heidi's guy Spencer Pratt, who lays down some rhymes on the track, says that it's not actually her "single.")

As for L.C., there's a good reason for her refusal to screech: "I don't have either [singing or acting] talent, so I'm not going to pretend like I do!" Reee-owww! "I don't really have very many talents! I'm OK with it, though."

It’s Lauren vs. Heidi in Battle of the Ex-BFFs

“The Hills,” which opens its third season on MTV tonight, is more convincing than “Friends” and just about any other comedy about female relationships because — as anyone who has ever been a young woman knows — undying friendships die.

After all those superlatives and hugs and I love yous, these separations can be bruising. Unlike romantic heartbreak, in which the terms are ultimately subjective (“He’s not that into me”), women’s friendships are commonly burnt down along rigid moral lines (“She’s disloyal, selfish, deceitful and manipulative”). You can brood over this stuff for years.

The spectacular falling-out of the two main stars of “The Hills,” Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag, has become a polarizing object lesson played out in the supermarket tabloids. This reality show, which began as a spinoff of “Laguna Beach,” the documentary series about a group of well-off teenagers in Orange County, Calif., initially followed Lauren’s wan effort to establish herself as an adult in Los Angeles. But as a grown-up Lauren proved no Mary Tyler Moore, and adolescence kept pulling her back in.

The second season gave up on maturity and let Lauren be the woman-child she is. “The Hills” rapidly found its footing as a drama when Heidi, a trifling blonde known for her love of nightlife, her bust line and other superficial things, swelled to take up more emotional space. She displayed an uncommon gift for sycophancy and self-sacrifice, which seemed like a sin when put in the service of the no-good men in her life, and a virtue when used to serve Lauren or the publicity firm Heidi went to work for.

But by the season’s end a Machiavellian figure named Spencer had decided to indenture Heidi to girlfriendhood. And she went along, to the dismay of Lauren, who was sad to see her friend’s true nature but mostly sad to lose her cheerful lackey.

As the new season opens, Heidi is living with the vile Spencer but still pitifully imagining she might get back into Lauren’s good graces. Not a chance. The hard-hearted Lauren is crowing to her more boring friends about having moved on.

For the single girl — that’s Lauren here — high dudgeon about disloyalty is one (annoying) way to keep more coupley friends on the hook. Last season Lauren flew into F. Lee Bailey levels of bombast when she took to task a friend who had made out with a guy Lauren had dated. Lauren cited a “code” that made the other girl’s garden-variety flirtation unconscionable. Then she did the same to Heidi, making her feel beyond forgiveness for falling in love with a silly, flirty man about town.

This season Lauren outdoes herself in moral outrage, managing virtually to criminalize Heidi’s alliance with Spencer by turning their Pinkberry relationship into a kind of RICO violation. The couple, she says, has been perpetrating Internet calumnies — a Lauren sex-tape rumor! — against her. These tales have even made their way to Laguna Beach, where Lauren’s righteous family shares her indignation. What supermax prison could hold the duo that wrought such havoc for the Conrads?

At this point in a young woman’s life — when she must either establish herself as admirable in her community or become a laughingstock or worse — anxiety about reputation, friendship and romance is understandable. But as a major player in the repertory company of contemporary reality improv, which plays out in celebrity magazines too, the crusading Lauren is policed on one side by her reportedly strict parents and on the other by Us Weekly. This must be a particularly challenging line to walk.

It also offers some real-world suspense. If a sex tape featuring Lauren Conrad exists, her career might be altered; MTV has a stake in that. On the other hand if Heidi is a blackmailer who has invented this tape along with her evil consort, well, that’s something potentially libelous too.

The hysteria that often informs friendships among young women shouldn’t have to bump up against subjects like money, television channels, careers and libel. That combination seems to thwart the healing process. When a girl goes through a friend breakup, after all, she usually cries to her mother.

“But she told everyone I’m conceited,” you sob, and she says, “I know it seems like a big deal, but no one’s really thinking about your problems.” Eventually that sinks in.

When you’re Lauren or Heidi, though, the story shows up on the covers of the supermarket tabloids. “Lauren’s side of the story!” one says. Or “Why Heidi really loves Spencer!” Under these conditions it’s probably much, much harder for the moms to explain it all away.

Lauren Conrad And Heidi Montag Catfight In Public

Reality TV stars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag from The Hills took their little roommate spat up a level when the former BFF bumped into each other at a L.A. nightclub.

The former best friends parted ways on MTV’s The Hills on a bitter note this second season when Montag decided to move in with her beau Spencer Pratt.

Montag was partying at Les Deux this May 30 and decided to pay a visit to Conrad, also in the same club, at her table.

The reunion turned into a turf war that left Conrad and her new roommate, Audrina Patridge, 22, fuming as they left the L.A. joint.

“They just came right at our table and sat down,” Patridge told Us magazine. “We were like, ‘What are you doing? Get away! This is our table.’ But they said, ‘This is our night, our friends, get out of here.’”

The reality TV show will do a third season but its doubtful whether Conrad and Montag will patch things up anytime soon. They refused to attend the MTV sponsored photo shoot the same day and scheduled shoots on separate days for the promotional features.
