Charlize Theron

For the third day in a row, Charlize Theron showed off her sweet smile on the red carpet - this time at the Hancock premiere at Vue West End Cinema in London’s Leicester Square.

Wearing a high-slitted black dress, the Oscar-winning actress was joined at the film festivities by co-star
Will Smith, along with fellow attendees Jason Bateman and Danielle Lloyd.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, “Hancock” tells the story of “a hard-living superhero who has fallen out of favor with the public, then entering into a questionable relationship with the wife of the public relations professional who’s trying to repair his image.”

Directed by Peter Berg, you can catch the sure-to-be action-packed flick when it hits theaters in the States and the UK on July 2nd.

Charlize Theron and Will Smith: “Hancock” in Paris

Charlize Theron and Will Smith

Wearing a sexy cleavage-baring white ensemble with leopard print heels, South African-born American actress Charlize Theron was a red carpet stunner at the Paris premiere of “Hancock”.

Joined by co-star
Will Smith, the duo laughed amongst one another as they posed for a lineup of photographers before making their way into the theater for the screening.

The movie, which hits theaters in the States on July 2nd (France on July 9th), tells the story of “a hard-living superhero who has fallen out of favor with the public, then entering into a questionable relationship with the wife of the public relations professional who’s trying to repair his image.”

Speaking about a scene in the movie, Charlize recently told press that Will Smith slapped her for real on-set, although he isn’t quite willing to accept responsibility.

“He tried to fake slap me one time, but the fake one just didn’t happen. We’re still debating this one. I think he just hit me! But Will claims I leaned into his hand and that’s how it happened. I was so shocked! I was like, ‘He just slapped me! But he said, ‘I did not slap you. I had my hand there and you turned into it,’” she tells.

Not letting a little contact ruin their growing friendship, Charlize adds: “We’re just like kids, it’s so much fun. He’s not a woman beater!”

Charlize Theron: “Sleepwalking” In NYC

The Tribeca Grand Screening Room was the place to be last night for fans of Charlize Theron. The beautiful actress showed up at the event, hosted by the Cinema Society and Dior Beauty, looking as hot as ever.

Theron wore a gold knee-length, plunging neckline halter dress, along with matching massive heels and a coif that screamed “bring back the ‘80s!” And for some reason, the retro look (think Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface) really worked for her.

And while looking amazing is one of Charlize’s specialties, she recently revealed that she doesn’t put any emphasis on her appearance.

She told FOX’s Pop Tarts, “At the end of the day, it isn’t about what I physically look like — it comes back to storytelling. If I can find a good story, [that] is all that matters; I don’t judge a character on what I physically look like. I really don’t care about appearance; that is so secondary to everything else that’s more important in life.”

Charlize Theron’s a Hasty Pudding Girl

Charlize Theron has made her way to Cambridge, Massachusetts to pick up the Hasty Pudding “Woman of the Year” award.

Spotted out earlier today at the Harvard ‘Hasty Pudding’ parade, Theron cheerfully announced, “I am Woman of the Year! If there was any question about me being a man, this should erase it,” as she boarded a rust-colored Bentley convertible.

According to a spectator, “As the caravan began its slow trek west on Massachusetts Avenue, Theron got a few smooches by the cross-dressing zanies of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals. When one of the Harvard undergrad’s wigs fell off, Theron quipped: ‘What? You’re a man?’ As her car crossed passed a three-story brick building at the corner of Plimpton Street and Massachusetts Avenue, Theron spotted a few guys perched on a balcony and yelled: ‘Take it off.’ One of the men happily obliged - lifting his shirt to reveal a hairy mess. From there, Charlize seemed very interesting in seeing more of Harvard Square, even bending down and tapping her car’s driver on the shoulder with an offer - ‘I did The Italian Job, if you want me to take over.’”

Meanwhile, later on today, Charlize will take part in a ceremony where she’ll be handed a brass pudding pot - which is given to performers who have made “a lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment.”

Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend have got 'married'

The handsome Irish actor has revealed he and the Oscar-winning actress recently tied the knot - although their union is not legally recognized.

Stuart told People magazine: "I'm married. I didn't do a church wedding or anything, but we're married - we're husband and wife!

"We love each other and we want to spend our lives together. We didn't have a ceremony. I don't need a certificate or the state or the church to say otherwise. So no, there's no big official story on a wedding, but we are married. I consider her my wife and she considers me her husband."

Stuart refused to reveal anymore details of the mystery 'wedding'.

The 'union' follows rumors the couple - who met on the set of the film Trapped - were on the brink of splitting.

Late last year, reports surfaced the pair had drifted apart, but Charlize was quick to rubbish the claims.

The Monster star recently revealed she wanted to become a mother, but isn't keen on conceiving naturally.

She said: "Getting pregnant doesn't excite me, but having kids does. I know I'll be a mother one day. It's just that I don't really want to look like a whale.

"But I'm sure the idea of something growing inside you is pretty powerful".

Charlize Theron Wants The Troops Home From Iraq

In the past, some Hollywood heavyweights have felt the need to voice their opinion in regards to current political events. Charlize Theron is the latest star to walk the volatile line by calling for the removal of US troops in Iraq.

The Oscar-winning actress spoke at the Venice Film Festival, where her latest film, In The Valley of Elah, is in competition. Co-starring Susan Sarandon and Tommy Lee Jones, the film is based on the true story of a soldier who went missing on his first weekend back from serving in Iraq. Theron plays Emily Sanders, the detective leading the investigation into the disappearance of the soldier.
At the festival, Charlize told press, ““Nothing would give me more joy than to see them (the troops) back in America. They are doing a very, very important job and it’s a dangerous one. Hopefully they can come back and be looked after, that’s the least we can do for them.”

In addition to calling for US troops to leave Iraq, the Monster actress warned the American people to open their eyes to the conflict in Iraq and other regions around the world.

“In a way it’s really strange now living in America. I realize my generation has kind of slacked a little bit ... I don’t know how people get through their lives not knowing. I can’t imagine going through my life like that.”

Enjoy the pictures of the always lovely Charlize Theron at the 2007 Venice Film Festival.
