David Beckham's Armani Underwear Ad Campaign

It just may be a girl’s dream come true… David Beckham has been immortalized in the new Emporio Armani underwear advertising campaign wearing nothing but his underwear!

Yesterday, Macy’s West CEO Jeff Gennette introduced the soccer stud at the campaign launch in San Francisco, California, with a giant backdrop of Becks in his skivvies.

The LA Galaxy star spent the afternoon meeting, greeting, and signing autographs for the first 175 fans to purchase $200 worth of underwear. And he looked slick in a grey suit with a platinum tie.

Beckham will be the brand’s face for the next three years, with an annual fee rumored to be $20 million, plus royalties. The new collection will be available here in the States this August.

Giorgio Armani Not Selling His Fashion Empire

Who hasn’t heard of Italian fashion designer Armani? I’m pretty sure you all have. Just the other day, some came out that Giorgio Armani is prepared to sell out his fashion empire, which some estimate could be worth $6.6 billion. At the opening of an Armani exhibition in Milan, it was reported that Giorgio Armani said he was prepared to sell to the highest bidder.

But just as quickly as the new spread, he denied the issue on selling his company. He said, “I made a remark to journalists in Italy that was obviously misunderstood”.

Did this news about a sell-out worry you? If you are a die-hard Armani “fashionista” I guess you can put your mind at rest now. You will still have a long time to look forward to with excellent and trendy offerings from this Italian designer.
